When I was a child, I used to go through the same school routine every day like
clockwork. My alarm clock used to go off at the crack of dawn, and I used to
groggily stumble out of bed, still half asleep. I used to drag myself to the kitchen,
where my mom used to whip up a quick breakfast while I used to wolf it down
before rushing out the door.
Once at school, I used to hang out with my friends during breaks, and we used
to goof off in the playground, playing tag or climbing trees. Sometimes we used
to get into trouble for being too loud, but we used to just laugh it off. In class, I
used to sit at my desk, trying to pay attention to the teacher, but my mind used
to wander to far-off places. I used to doodle in my notebook, daydreaming about
adventures I used to want to have.
