***In Germany, you have the option between furnished and unfurnished apartments, with the majority of single flats being offered
unfurnished. Typically a furnished apartment will have all big furniture pieces (e.g. bed, wardrobe, couch, sofa, a fitted kitchen etc.). It won't
have smaller items, which come in a serviced apartment such as towels, pots & pans, TV, etc. Unfurnished flats are rather bare - no furniture
or electrical appliances (usually no kitchen installed). Some might even come without light fixtures and curtains.
