Description: SAIL follows a French language-learning program called D’accord that is

continuous for all grades. The program uses a context-centered approach to language
proficiency, where all four language components; Listening, Speaking, Reading and
Writing, are fully incorporated. D’accord 2 helps to build a foundation of fundamental
vocabulary and essential language structures. Themes covered include:

Unit 4: In the city

• Giving & getting directions
• Errands

Unit 5: Future & occupation

• At the office
• Making phone calls
• Professions, occupations
• Workplace

Unit 6: Nature
• Environmental concerns
• Nature
• Pollution

Unit 7: Art festival

• Performance arts
• Literary arts
• TV & movies

Prerequisites: French 10
