Verbs

“Verbs are action words that tell us what someone or something does.”

Sometimes verb are used with –Ing to show the actions that are happening now. Examples
Jumping
Playing
Walking.
Linking Verbs: Linking verb does not show action, rather they “link” the subject with the rest of
the sentence. Examples (am, is, are, was, were, has been, are being, might be, etc.)
The cat is white
The king was kind.
The Peacocks are beautiful.
Some more Examples:
has, had, have
My friend has a new toy.
I have a sister.
Ravi had a big dog.
