MAKE A DESCRIPTION Of SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

(has una descripción de actividades de la escuela)
There are many things that you can do at the school, first of all, when you come in, the very
first thing to do is to say “hello” to the security guard or person in charge of the school door.
Then when you enter at your classroom, you have to say “good morning” to your teacher
and to your classmates too.
After some classes that you will take, such as: maths, Sciences, English, Language, etc.
you will have a break in which you can go to the cafeteria and buy some snacks and the
you will share some free time with your classmates. After the break, you will have to return
to your classroom and probably continue taking other courses.
At some point of the day, the school day will finish and you can go to your home, take some
rest and do your homework and then be ready for another excellent day at the school.
3 INVESTIGATE THE COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVE AND WRITE 5 EXAMPLE FOR
EACH CASE
Comparative Adjectives
Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between the two objects they modify (larger, smaller,
faster, higher). They are used in sentences where two nouns are compared, in this pattern: Noun (subject) + verb
+ comparative adjective + than + noun (object)

 My house is bigger than yours.

 Your grade is worse than mine.
 The Pacific Ocean is deeper than the Arctic Ocean.
 You are more polite than Annie.
 My brother is taller than my father.

SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES

A superlative adjective expresses the extreme or highest degree of a quality. We use a superlative

adjective to describe the extreme quality of one thing in a group of things. We can use superlative
adjectives when talking about three or more things (not two things).

 I can't find my most comfortable jeans.

 Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system.
 Clarissa is the smartest girl in our class.
 This is the most interesting book I have ever read.
 I am the shortest person in my family.

4. POSSESIVE PRONOUNS

 Possessive pronouns show that something belongs to someone. Possessive

pronouns are never spelled with apostrophes.
EXAMPLES
 The possessive pronouns: my, your , his, her, its, our and their. (mio
-tuyo-de el – de ella- nuestro-de ellos/ellas)

 There’s also an “independent” form of each of these pronouns: mine, yours,

his, hers, its, ours and theirs ( mios-tuyos- de ellos- de ellas-
nuestros- de ellos/ellas)

5 DEFINITE AND INDEFINITE ARTICLES

Articles are a unique type of adjectives that indicate which noun (person, place, or thing) you're talking about.

 The only definite article in English is the, and it refers to a specific noun.

 Indefinite articles (a or an) refer to nouns more generally.
a (before a singular noun beginning with a consonant sound)
an (before a singular noun beginning with a vowel sound)
