SPEAKING TEST FORM 2

In this test you need to make 2 short videos. You need to record yourself while speaking. You
can ask someone to help to record you while you do the speaking.
The first video must not more than 3 minutes. You must answer Part 1 and Part 2.
In the second video, answer Part 3 in not less than 2 minutes and not more than 3 minutes.

Please read the dialogue below with the right intonation, pronunciation, rhyme and stress.
Situation: Two friends are discussing about their friend Susan who got involved in an accident.
Sherly: Ahmad, what has happened? I heard that there has been a terrible accident.
Ahmad: Yes, Sherly. Susan was run over by a taxi.
Sherly: How did it happen?
Ahmad: As she was crossing to the other side of the road at the Sentul Boulevard junction, a taxi
hit her from the back and she was knocked out.
Sherly: How is she now? Did she suffer any serious injuries?
Ahmad: Well, she was unconscious for about an hour and though she did not take too long to
come around, the doctor told us that at this stage, he could not rule out the possibility of head
injuries.
Sherly: How about her parents? Have they been informed?
Ahmad: That’s the problem. Her parents are overseas and cannot be contacted. However, we
have managed to get in touch with her uncle who is a lawyer.
Sherly: I suppose her uncle can look into the police matters. He will be the best person to do this.
We can help out, though.
Ahmad: Yes, Sherly we should, as I heard the taxi driver is trying to make out that the accident
was Susan’s fault.
Sherly: Is that so? I am sure there are some eyewitnesses who can help us. Shall we go over to the
shopkeepers at Sentul Boulevard to gather more information?
Ahmad: Yes, that’s a good idea. Let’s do it right away.
