1. What is it?
NSSCF provided schools with $$$ to provide 1:1 computer for every student in Years 9-12 @ LSC students can take home, install own software BELONGS TO LSC! Acer Aspire One 753 netbook - <1kg, no optical drive, NOT a gaming machine 11.6 screen
2. What do I get?
The netbook The charger The software MS Office, lots of free stuff, even PhotoShop! A hardcase 3 year warranty On Site support One less thing to buy at Xmas!

The Ultranet will give you more detailed and timely access to information so you can monitor and support your childs learning. Attendance marks - progress Rolled out in 2012 onwards

Expected to last 4 years they belong to LSC If student exits LSC need to return netbook to school If stolen from home need police report No chargers in school please OHS issue You dont HAVE to have one Your son/daughters 1st computer? Issues? Acceptable Use Agreement in 2012
Questions
Keep the machine for 4 years (Yr 9s), 3 years (Yr 10s), 2 years (Yr 11s), 1 year (Yr 12s) Yes you can put music on it but its your responsibility in terms of backing up. Netbook lost find it! No replacement from school Warranty is 3 years (not accidental or deliberate damage) Used in a variety of classes not ALL the time Security in lockers make sure your lock is good, secure and no-one knows your combination/has a spare key Hand writing skills diminishing netbooks wont be used ALL the time still plenty of writing.
