I. CALL TO ORDER

Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon and welcome to the ENGAGEMENT PARTY
of CHRIS RATTERREE and SHEENA DELA CRUZ. I know how excited you are
to witness this momentous celebration, while waiting for the program to start indulge
your taste buds at the Pica Pica Section, where tantalizing array of flowers and colors
awaits. Treat yourself to a delightful culinary journey that perfectly complements the
vibrant ambiance of this venue. And, while you’re at it, don’t miss a chance to strike
a pose and capture the fun moments on our photo booth by

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the perfect spot to stop some memorable photos, creating
lasting momentous of this wonderful gathering. So, grab a plate from Pica-Pica and
strike a pose and make the most of your time and join the fantastic food and the
playful atmosphere. Once again, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the
ENGAGEMENT CELEBRATION of CHRIS and SHEENA. You may now enjoy

II. OPENING SPIEL

: "The journey to forever is NEVER EASY, because to stay in love is always a

decision and a choice." and, that is the exact reason why we are all gathered here
today; to celebrate that decision, that choice, and the love between CHRIS AND
SHEENA as THEY enter in another milestone of their journey not just as
boyfriend/girlfriend, but now we can consider as a couple as they will take their
ROAD TO FOREVER.

Our dear guests, family, friends, ladies and gentlemen; good afternoon!
Another step to be striding on and another milestone has embarked! Let’s create a
joyous celebration full of jovial feeling, I am Nelvincent Christian A. Nacido,
welcoming you to the CHRIS and SHIN ENAGEMENT CELEBRATION as these
couple are now ready to say “I DO” to each other. (Isang masigabong palakpakan na
man po diyan)

But before anything else, I would like to say thank you for joining us here this
afternoon and spending your time in order to grace this joyful occasion with your
presence, especially to those who have travelled miles away just to celebrate the
engagement of CHRIS and SHEENA. Eventually, we are gathered here to honor their
love and the exciting journey they are about to embark on together.
 Today is not just a celebration of their engagement, but also a celebration of
love, friendship, most especially, a celebration of God’s unending love, guidance, and
faithfulness. It is a joyous occasion filled with laughter, good wishes, and heartfelt
moments.

So without so much ado, I am very honoured to present to you this afternoon,

the two hearts who are ready to say “I DO”! Ladies and gentlemen, let’s all stand and

And now, for the continuation of our program, may I request the couple to
personally welcome our guests who are celebrating with us here. Take it away, Chris
and Shin.

V. GAME

So, at this poin of time, let’s proceed to the exciting part – the GAME.

Everyone here in the venue will participate, young ones or feeling young or
young at heart are encouraged to join our game. Those who don’t want to join will
sponsor the prizes for the winners
 So the game will be called HONESTY GAME. In this game, all you have to do
is to be HONEST. There questions or events or things that will be thrown, and all you
have to do is to answer them not correctly, but honestly. (state an example-If you
have already received a bouquet of flowers, if your answer is no, you will remain
standing, because you’re going to continue the game, but if your answer is YES, you
can take your seat because your chance to win in this game has ended)

VII. WORD OF GOD, EXCHANGE OF RING AND BENEDICTION TO THE

COUPLE

I have mentioned a while ago that this occasion is also a celebration of God’s
unending love, guidance, and faithfulness. So this event would never be momentous
if without God’s word in our lives. That’s why I am calling on Ptr.
_____________________ to share to us some exhortations from the word of God.

VIII. FATHER AND DAUGHTER DANCE

Alright, I think everyone has been blessed by the message. This momentous
event is indeed a special occasion for CHRIS and SHIN and also for each and
everyone of us here who are also delighted to what and where Sheena is now. She is
about to tie the knot with Chris and will make her own family. However, with regard
with Sheena’s parents, things will never be the same. There will be changes
somehow.

Now, before we see Chris and Shin on their first dance, I wish to invite the
presence of the very first man in Sheena’s life even before Chris came; the first man
who carried Sheena with his arms, the first man who provided Sheena with all her
needs and satisfied her with her wants, the very first man who protects and loves
Sheena with all his life. I want to call on Bro. Ronnie and Sheena herself for Father
and Daughter DANCE

IX FIRST DANCE (CHRIS AND SHIN)

Alright, ladies and gentlemen, that part was really awesome! And now, one of
the most awaited moments in this program is the FIRST DANCE of CHRIS and
SHIN.

The this DANCE symbolizes the consummation of their love and commitment.
This dance is the couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint endeavour. As
saying goes, ‘it takes two to tango.” So, ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my
privileged to present to you CHRIS and SHIN in their FIRST DANCE.

[couple will dance their first dance with music performing by Gladys – after the

At this juncture, Chris and Shin will do CAKE CUTTING TRADITION…

May we request Christ and Shin to go towards the cake for cutting and eating

[The couple will do the cutting and eating of the cake]

The purpose of this Cake Cutting Ceremony is for you to be able to

practice what possible thing can happen on your wedding day. This is just a practice.
Traditionally, it is believed that the love of a man or a woman is measured according
to the size of the piece being given by his/her partner.

That’s why ladies and gentlemen, let us witness, who has a bigger love for
his/her partner? Is it Chris or is it Sheena?

Para magkaalaman na, Chris will go first, then followed by Sheena.

Let us all give a round of applause to the couple for being sport. Actually,
Well, the cake symbolizes your unity, your shared future, and your life together how
you work as one as future husband and wife to each other.

XII. TOAST FOR THE COUPLE

Chris and Sheena have found the love in each other, and their love has
blossomed into a beautiful commitment. This engagement Celebration is a testimony
of God’s favour to the love story of Chris and Shin and the beginning of a new
chapter in their lives

So, a celebration is never complete without a toast and a bottle of good wine.
So this time, let’s fill our glasses with any drink that we could get and let us all raise
our glasses and toast to Chris and Shin, wishing them a lifetime of love, happiness
and, togetherness. May their journey be filled with unforgettable memories,
unwavering support, and endless love.

So, may I call on, one of the siblings of Shin, REIN to lead this wine toasting.

church for the their wedding day. As we each go home, may this day be memorable
