WEDDING RECEPTION

Rosendo and Aiza Tangalin Nuptial

- Where there is love, there is life. Today, we will witness two persons, two hearts, and two
souls become one.

- Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to a day of pastel colors as we celebrate
love. I am your host, Jake Angelo Biraquit, and this is Rosendo and Aiza's Wedding
Reception.

- Today calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you for
the very first time Rosendo and Aiza as husband and wife. For their grand entrance, here
are our newlyweds, Mr. Rosendo and Mrs. Aiza Tangalin!

- Let us begin this celebration with a prayer. Let us all stand, bow down our heads and put
ourselves in the presence of God.

- In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Heavenly Father,
Love has been your richest and greatest gift to this world. Love between a man and a
woman which matures into marriage. Today, we celebrate that love. Lord for the joy of this
occasion, we thank You. For Your presence here and now and at all times, we thank You.
Protect, guide, and bless Marlon and Alimaye and everyone present here. Surround us
with Your love now and always. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit. Amen.

- Today is a very beautiful day for all of us. Not just for Rosendo and Aiza, but for the
people who were with them since the beginning of their love story.

- My friends, we are done with the solemn part of the celebration and we thank those
people who were with us earlier at the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels for the
wedding ceremony. And for those who just joined in, Welcome! And so, here we are in this
lovely reception here at Purok 2, Mungo, Tuao for the most exciting part - the Reception
for our newlyweds in celebration of the beginning of their new life together. So sit down,
relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.

- Before anything else, we would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a greatpart
of this joyous affair. For without their support, this event would not be made possible.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to introduce to you the Parents of the
Groom, Mr. Josephat and Mrs. Hertrudiz Castillo. A big round of applause please.

* * Bridal First Dance

- Today is indeed a special day and will forever be etched in the memory of our beloved
couple. For today marks the beginning of their new life together. From this day forward
they shall be one, and on this joyful beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate
it with their First Dance.

- The First Dance is symbolic of the consummation of their wedding vows. This Dance is
the wedding couples' first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. As the saying goes,
“It takes two to tango.” Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my privilege to present to
you Mr. Clyde and Mrs. Carla Castillo with their First Dance. (Newlyweds dances their
First Dance)

- Thank you Clyde and Carla, let us once again give them a big round of applause.
* Dance of parents

* Dance of principal sponsors

* Dove Release

The bride and groom will now do the dove release. May I request the newly weds to please
come forward and each get a dove.

- The two doves signify Clyde and Carla being released to start a new journey together.
Like the two pairs of dove, whatever happens they will always try to seek the comfort of
each other and their home together. This is where they know that they will find love. A
dove always choose one mate for life, and signify love, faithfulness, joy, and hope.

- Clyde and Carla are now ready so we will now release the doves. At the count of three
release the doves. Ready when you are. One... Two... Three... and... off they go!!! That was
really beautiful.

* Garter removal

- These days, removing the garter is basically the male equivalent to the bride's bouquet
toss. The bride sits on a chair so her new husband can take her garter belt off her leg and
toss it to a crowd of bachelors. Supposedly, whoever is lucky enough to catch it will be next
to get married.

* Flower toss

* Cake cutting

- Cake cutting moment still symbolizes the first official task of the married couple. The
couple will share a bite of cake, symbolizing their union and the promise to forever
provide for one another.

* Wine drinking/ toasting

- The bride and groom drink from a single glass of wine. This symbolizes drinking from the
cup of life and sharing all of its experiences together, both bitter and sweet. This glass of
wine symbolizes the sum of the newlyweds' life experiences. It contains within it the sweet
flavors of love, joy, wonder and contentment. May I also enjoin everyone to join us in our
toast which signifies our wish and gesture for good health and prosperity for Clyde and
Carla!

* Grace Before Meals

- Well I guess the food is now ready and dinner will commence shortly. May I call on
__________________________ to say the grace before meals.
(______________________comes forward to say grace before meals)

* Thank you _____________________. So there you have it ladies and gentleman. Lunch is
served. You are all hereby invited to partake dinner. You may now get your food at the
buffet table. Please enjoy your meal.

- That ends our program but our celebration continues. Again, this has been Jake Angelo
Biraquit saying, love is a human experienc. This includes all the good times and the bad
times. Love is a journey. Wherever we go, it's either we find love or it finds us. Thank you
and mabuhay!
