d. Grand Entrance of the Newly Wed Couple

Thank you very much. Let us all be seated now, Truly this event will be a celebration of Love…a feast
of two hearts who vowed to stay forever no matter what…

A Great Marriage is not when the perfect couple comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns
to enjoy their differences.

May I request everyone to stand up.

Let us start this wonderful occasion in a prayer. I would like to call the Maid of Honor to lead the
prayer of Thanksgiving.

A. Prayer of Thanksgiving – Maid of Honor (________________ )

Heavenly Father,

Love has been your richest and greatest gift to this world.

Love between a man and a woman which matures into marriage.

Today, we celebrate that love.

Lord, for the joy of this occasion, we Thank You.

For your presence here and and now and at all times, we thank you.

Protect, guide and bless ROMEL and EMELINDA and everyone present here.

Surround us with your love now and always.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
DOVE RELEASE

The two doves signify ROMEL and EMS being released to start a new journey
together. Like the two pairs of dove, whatever happens they will always try to
seek the comfort of each other and their home together. This is where they know
that they will find love A dove always choose one mate for life, and signify love,
faithfulness, joy, and hope,

ROMEL and EMS are now ready so we will now release the doves. At the count of
three release the doves. Ready when you are. One... Two... Three... and... off
they go!!! That was really beautiful.
Pictorial – Well I guess the food is now ready and dinner will commence shortly. At this point to maintain
order, we will have first the picture taking per table with the couple.

II. Reception Rituals:

It has been a tradition in every wedding reception, to have the memorable rituals. Let us start with
the slicing of the cake.

The cake is a symbol of good luck and fertility. The sharing of this food symbolizes the couple's
willingness to fulfil each other's needs, creating a bond so simple yet so strong.

Friends please be up and standing as we witness the couple share their first bite of the cake. After
giving a bite of the cake, the couple will seal it with a kiss. Thank you everyone!

1. Slicing of the Cake – Couple

This time, it is a moment's pause for the Best Man to initiate the wine toasting. Wine toasting is a
symbol of us wishing the couple of good fortune and better future and the best life possible for
them.

2. Wine Toasting – ( The Best Man will initiate by clinging of the glass )

May I request all the single ones to stay put for the Single Games.
3. Bouquet Ceremony - Bride

The most exciting part for the bride at this moment, to pass on the bouquet to the next lucky
woman. As a twist, instead of throwing the bouquet and then someone will catch. Let us have a
game. Are you familiar with trip to Jerusalem game? In weddings, we call it dancing chairs game.
So, all the single ladies will come here and form a circle. As the music stops, you will find a chair to
sit on. In contrast, the first three ladies who will be out will be the three choices to get the bouquet.
So try your very best to get a chair then.

4. Garter Toss – Groom

Today, the groom symbolically tosses the garter to show that he is throwing away his single life
and embracing a married one.

This time, may I call in all the single men. You will have an enjoyable party this afternoon. Please
come here all the single men. All of you will remove your pair of shoes and then you will turn back
as someone will jumble the pair of shoes. In count of 5 you will all face in front. The first one who
can find his pair of shoes will be the winner and will receive a bottle of beer. And the last one, will
be the one to receive the garter.

Prosperity Dance - Couple, with the parents, principal sponsors, guests )

Ladies and gentlemen, we now come to that very special part of every wedding party, steeped in
symbolism. The bounty dance means prosperity and good health will abound to the newly weds.
May their marriage be as happy and enjoyable like their first couple dance. Put your hands
together to Mr. and Mrs. ROMEL & EMS BERNIDO for their first dance as a married couple.

D-I-N-N-E-R is served.

We would like to thank _______________ and crew for the wonderful accommodation and service
they are providing us here. The newly weds would like also to thank Ms. Judith T. Deloso for
supervising the physical arrangement of our reception.

* Giving of wedding giveaways.

* Opening of the biggest and smallest gifts.
