EMCEE: ADLIB (Give special thanks to the relatives and friends).

EMCEE: Alright, so let’s move on to our next stop. A wedding is not complete without
traditions. The first one must be the cutting of the wedding cake.
A wedding is not complete without traditions/rituals.
Let us now move on to the first tradition, the cutting of the cake

1. Slicing of cake

May I request the newlyweds to prepare for the cake cutting ceremony. The
cake, which was been part of the wedding celebrations since the Roman times, is a
symbol of good luck and fertility.  I would like to request the groom to place your hand
over the hand of your wife, as you slice your cake in 3, 2, 1….. Slice!!!

The cake is a symbol of a happy married life that the couple would enjoy from
this day forward. Let us pray that MR. ROGELIO and MRS. MARILYN will continue
to share the sweetness of love, that they will continue to live together with their
hearts pure of joy in serving the Lord as husband and wife and as a family.

Mr. ROGELIO, may you support your wife throughout your marriage
wholeheartedly. and Mrs. MARILYN, may you take care of your husband and your
family with all your heart.

 You may now spoon-feed your partner with a slice of your wedding cake in 3, 2,
1,… Say Ah…ah…ah… “I love You” Yeeey!!!! Sana all…

2. Champagne toast

Our next tradition is the champagne toasting. Raising glass together is a way
for everyone to share and wishing good health and happiness to the newlyweds.
The wine that the couple is about to share is a representation of life's adversities. Life
indeed is not a bed of roses, as MR. ROGELIO and MRS. MARILYN drink the wine,
they affirm their pledge of loyalty and fidelity even in the most trying times of their
married life. Let us pray that during these moments, they will cling to no one but to
the Lord, the very foundation of their love.

3. Traditional or Money Dance

It is an opportunity for us to witness the first dance of the Newlyweds: Father

and Mother and Mother and son, to be followed by the traditional money dance. This
traditional money dance symbolizes the guests wishing the couple good fortune,
hoping that money and fortune will rain on our couple. This is also another way of
helping the couple at the beginning of their life together.

4. Tossing of the garter and Tossing of the bouquet

Instead of the traditional way of tossing the garter ; we have something

different. May I ask assistance to distribute balloons to every single bachelors. The
single bachelors should pop the balloon. There is one balloon that contains the garter
and whoever get that balloon is out lucky bachelor.
Tossing of the garter and Tossing of the bouquet, ofcourse before the tossing of the
garter, the groom will get it first from the bride through a sexy dance ( playing of sexy
music)……..

The single bachelors will form a circle and we will do a trip to Jerusalem bouquet
tossing. We will play music and as the music stops, whoever is the nearest to the
groom is the lucky bachelor.

May I call on the single ladies to please round up. Ladies please stay within the area
as we now moving on to the tossing of the bouquet. This tradition has been done
over the years and is meant that whoever catches the bouquet would have luck and
protection. Nowadays, it has simply evolved to imply that whoever caught the
bouquet would be lucky and would be wed next. The single ladies will form a
traditional arrangement but the bride will toss not her bouquet, tig-iisang bulaklak ang
ihahagis nya at kung sino ang makasalo nito ay tanggal na, at kung sinu ang matitira
she will be the lucky lady.

 Picture taking with the bachelor and Lucky lady! Thank you so much…..

May I request the chosen bachelor and the lucky lady to pose for a picture with the
newlyweds?

Messages

 To give some highlights of the couple’s life before they were united as one, may
we call some of their closest friends to give some message. (Friends’ messages)

 To give some advice to our newlyweds another messages to be rendered to us

by their chosen godparents. (Messages from ninong and ninang).

 May we call on the father/mother of the bride to give an inspirational talk to the
newlyweds?

 May we also call on the mother/father of the groom, Mr./Mrs. ________ to share
some words for the newlyweds.

 And now, our newlyweds would like to share some thoughts to all of you who are
here
today. I now turn you over to the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs.

Congratulations and Best Wishes, Mr. and Mrs. ROGELIO AND MARILYN.
