Good day, Ladies and Gentlemen. May I have your attention please? We are about to begin our
Luncheon Reception so please find a seat and make yourself comfortable. Thank you.
OPENING PRAYER
Every wonderful celebration won’t be completed without a prayer. Let’s begin this celebration
with praises to our Creator. May I request Ms. Maria Camille Castillo to lead the opening prayer.

WELCOME ADDRESS

A very pleasant day to everyone and welcome to Miguel and Irish’ wedding reception. We are
done with the solemn part of the celebration and we thank those people who were with us earlier for
the wedding ceremony and for those who just joined in, welcome! And so, here we are at Doña
Upeng Garden for the most exciting part - the Luncheon Reception for our newlyweds in celebration
of the beginning of their new life together. So sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

I am Sheila Marie Ramos and I had been given the task by the bride herself to be your emcee
for today. We thank you all for gracing this joyful occasion especially to those who made themselves
available just to be with us. In behalf of Miguel and Irish and their parents, I would like to express their
heartfelt gratitude for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have you
all today.

INTRODUCTION / ENTRANCE

Get yourselves ready for the grand entrance of the parents of the newlyweds, as well as the
Principal Sponsors and the rest of the wedding entourage. To make this part more exciting, lahat po
from parents down to the flower girls ay sasayaw as they make their way to their seats. Pataasan po
ng energy ito. Okay, let’s begin!

A. Parents
Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to introduce to you the parents of the Bride, Mr.
Arsenio Bautista Jr. and Mrs. Gemma Bautista. A big round of applause please.
And of course, we are truly happy to have here with us the Parents of the Groom. Our dear
guests, let us give a big hand to Mr. Miguel Arcangel Sr. and Mrs. Alice Delos Santos.

Today calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you for the very
first time today, Miguel and Irish as husband and wife. So without any further ado, let us all rise and
give our warmest welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Arcangel.

(Couple enters the hall)

Thank you very much! Let’s all be seated now. Truly, this momentous event marks a milestone
of two, beginning a lifelong commitment.

Now, let us all witness once again the Couple’s countdown kiss. Miguel and Irish, are you now
ready? Mukhang kagabi pa ready si sir Miguel ah.

Congratulations, Miguel and Irish. We wish you to be blessed with a long and happy life
together with your future children. So there you have it ladies and gentlemen our new lovely couple,
Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Arcangel! Let us again give them a big round of applause.

WEDDING CELEBRATION VOWS OF GUESTS

Since we are currently facing pandemic and only limited number of guests are allowed, all of
us who are present here today surely feel honored to be one of the guests in this wonderful
celebration. They chose us to become a part of their big event simply because they know that we play
an important role in their lives. In return, we will make them feel how special they are to us. And to do
this, I would like to ask everybody to recite a simple vow. Mangangako po tayo sa kanila. Meron po
akong babasahin, and all you need to do is to raise your right hand and then follow after me.

Bilang isa sa mga importanteng tao / sa buhay nina Miguel at Irish /

Ako ay nangangako na hindi sila pababayaan / sa oras ng pangangailangan. /

Ipinapangako ko rin / na ako ay magiging gabay / sa pagharap nila /

sa kanilang buhay mag-asawa. / At higit sa lahat/ ako ay nangangako /

na hinding hindi aalis / hangga’t hindi natatapos ang programa.

So yan po, lahat po ay nangako sa harap nina Miguel and Irish. Tandaan po natin ang mga
pangakong binitawan po natin lalong lalo na po yung panghuli.

GAME #1

Now, let’s see how well we know Miguel and Irish. I have here 4 questions. Paunahan na lang
sa pagsagot. Handa na ba kayo? Okay, let’s do this!

Questions:

1. Ano ang paboritong lugar na madalas nilang puntahan kapag nagdidate sila? *SINEHAN
 2. Anong part ng katawan ni Irish and pinakapaborito ni Miguel? *PUWET

3. Anong buwan nagpropose si Miguel kay Irish? *AUGUST

4. Ilan ang gusto nilang maging anak? *DALAWA

That ends our game #1. I hope nag-enjoy po tayong lahat.

DOVE RELEASE

The bride and groom will now do the dove release. May I request the newlyweds to please
come forward and both of you will get a dove.

(Newlyweds comes forward and prepare for the dove release)

The two doves signify Miguel and Irish being released to start a new journey together. Just like
the pair of dove, whatever happens they will always try to seek the comfort of each other and their
home together. This is where they know that they will find love. A dove always chooses one mate for
life, and signify love, faithfulness, joy, and hope.

Miguel and Irish are now ready to release the doves. At the count of three, release them.
Ready when you are. One... Two... Three... and... off they go!!! That was really beautiful.

COUPLE’S FIRST DANCE

Today is indeed a special day and will forever be etched in the memory of our beloved couple
for this marks the beginning of their new life together. From this day forward they shall be one, and on
this joyful beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their First Dance. This Dance
is the wedding couples' first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. As the saying goes, “It
takes two to tango.” But before that, let us enjoy watching the groom together with his beloved
mother and the bride with her dear father as they dance.

(Dance: Groom and mother. Bride and father)

(The groom will assist his mother back to her seat while bride and her father waits for
the groom. Emcee will start with intro at this point)

And now at this point, anyone may also get a chance to financially bless our couple as they do
their prosperity dance. You may approach Ms. Angela and she will hand you safety pins that you can
use to place the bills on the sash they are wearing. Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my
privilege to present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Arcangel with their First Dance.

(Newlyweds dances their First Dance)

Thank you Miguel and Irish. Let us once again give them a big round of applause.

CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY

And now it’s time for the Cake cutting ceremony. May we request the couple to proceed to the
cake’s table. Ladies and gentlemen, please direct your attention to the cake cutting tradition.
The husband and wife will put their hands together to slice the cake. The two hands moving as one
with a purpose, symbolizes that the two will work in unity to reach common goals for their shared
future and their life together as one. The sharing of this food symbolizes the couple’s willingness to
fulfill each other’s needs, creating a bond so simple and yet so strong…

(Newlyweds comes forward to cut the cake.)

Now join me as I do the countdown in 3..2..1..

There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Now seal it with a kiss!

(Couple kisses each other)

BEST MAN’S TOAST TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM

A celebration is never complete without a toast and a bottle of good wine. This ceremony
represents their two individual lives, now intertwined; combined like the two glasses of wine into one
single life. The drinking of the combined wine signifies the commitment they now make to live their
lives as one family. To lead the toast, may I invite our best man, ______________to join me here.

(Best Man raises his glass and addresses the newlyweds as he speaks...)

Everyone let us all stand and raise your glasses and join me in toasting.

(Best Man waits for everyone to stand up and see to it that everyone has raised their glasses
and then say…)

PRAYER BEFORE MEALS

It is said that a successful marriage involves three hearts becoming one. The hearts of the
husband, the wife, and God at the center. So let us give thanks to the one who made this all possible,
the author of life, love and relationships, our one true God. To lead us into prayer, and also to say
grace before meals, let us welcome, Mr. Martin Ethan Lalas.
(Ethan comes forward to say grace before meals)

LUNCH
Thank you Mr. Ethan. So there you have it ladies and gentleman. Lunch will be served on your
tables. You are all hereby invited to partake a sumptuous lunch. Please enjoy your meal.

The newlyweds would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone personally for your
presence. Miguel and Irish will now go from one table to another to greet each and everyone and to
have their souvenir picture taking with their guests.

(Remind guest to stay after eating, make announcements about the next part of the program)
After po ng lunch, may mga dapat pa po tayong abangan at mamimigay rin po tayo ng mga
wedding souvenirs, at syempre tandaan po nating muli ang pangakong binitawan.
WISHES FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS
And now, it’s time for the newlyweds to listen to the well wishes from people who are now part
of their married life and will always be a source of comfort, support and inspiration. Miguel and Irish
are truly blessed with such wonderful persons and I’m quite sure when it comes to knowing what
marriage is all about, they always have a word or two to share with them. We would like to call on the
father of the groom, Mr. Miguel Arcangel Sr. to say a few words of wisdom and best wishes to the
couple.

BOUQUET THROW
Now let us all have some fun for we are finally about to start our Bouquet Throw. At this point
we would like to request all the single ladies to please come forward and join us here. Hindi ito yung
usual na Bouquet throw na nakagawian na noon. Hindi na kailangan makipaghabulan o makipag-
agawan para sa bouquet. All we need to do is to pick the lucky number na napili ni bride. At kung sino
ang nagmatch sa lucky number na napili ng ating bride, sa kanya iaaward ang napakagandang
bouquet. Okay let’s start!

Single ladies:

(Let the ladies choose a number within the given range. Range depends on the number
of participants)

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen, nakapili napo silang lahat. Now it’s time for the bride
to reveal the lucky number. In 3…2..1.. Ang maswerteng nanalo ng bouquet with free trip to
Jerusalem ay si…. Mamaya natin malalaman sa matchmaking ritual. So girls, tatawagin po namin
mamaya yung lucky number na napili.

RETRIEVAL OF GARTER
Before we go on with the Garter Toss, the groom will retrieve the garter from his bride. So may
we request Miguel and Irish to please come at the center stage and do the garter retrieval ritual. Let’s
add some fun on this part. Bago makuha ni Miguel ang garter, kailangan niya munang sayawan ang
kanyang misis. Ihanda mo ang iyong da moves in 3..2..1.. Music please.

(After retrieving the garter)

There you have it ladies and gentlemen; the groom was finally able to retrieve the garter. Let
us give him a big hand.

GARTER TOSS (LIMBO ROCK GAME)

 Syempre hindi rin papahuli ang ating mga masculados. Sa lahat ng mga single at feeling
single na lalaki na nandito ngayon, lumapit na po kayo dito. Ito naman iba ang labanan dito. Matindi
ito. Alam niyo ba yung Limbo Rock? Yun po ang gagawin ninyo, Limbo rock version 2.0. Alam naman
na natin kung paano yung limbo rock di ba? Kailangan niyo lang makatawid sa lubid habang
nakabend ang inyong likod at syempre dapat hindi matouch ng kahit anong parte ng katawan ninyo
ang lubid. Meron tayong 3 rounds na tatapusin para malaman ang winner. Okay, handa na ba ang
inyong mga buto-buto? The floor is yours, contestant # 1.
(Contestants will do the limbo rock, round 1-2)
(Final round, they will be blindfolded, show them how low the rope is then blindfold
them)
For the final round, lahat kayo ay ibablindfold. Bago ilagay ang inyong blindfold, ipapakita sa
inyo kung gaano kababa yung lubid na tatawirin ninyo so kailangan tantyado ninyo at maingat kayo.
Hangga’t hindi ko pa sinasabi na alisin ang blindfold, huwag munang aalisin. Okay na ba? Let’s do
the final round!
(Once they are ready, remove the rope)

Buti na lang at hindi ninyo nakalimutang magSkelan. Thank you sa male participants natin. I
hope you had fun. Maya-maya lamang ay malalaman na natin kung sino sa inyo ang mapalad na
makakasama ng ating magandang dilag para sa matchmaking ritual. Malalaman ng mga nanalo
mamaya ang kanilang partner after ng matchmaking ritual.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
May I request all the male and female participants to line up here. One line for the females
facing this side and another line po sa males facing the other side. Lalapitan po ng bride ang female
winner at si Groom naman ang lalapit sa male winner then ibablindfold na po sila.
(Explain to the female winner what will happen next)

MATCHMAKING RITUAL
We are now on one of the highlights of the program, the matchmaking ritual. May I request Ms.
_________________ to take a seat. Let’s add some twist sa ating matchmaking ritual. Ibablindfold
natin silang dalawa para mas nakakaexcite.Di ba mas exciting yung hindi mo nakikita pero damang
dama mo? Kailangang kapahin ni Mr. ____________ang katawan ni Ms. ________________ para
mailagay niya nang maayos yung yung garter. Wala pong mag-aalis ng blindfold hangga’t hindi po
kayo binibigyan ng pahintulot.

(Ace will take the seat of Ms. _____________)

(Emcee will ask Ms. ___________ about how she feels, is it her first time, etc. and she may say
nakakakiliti, kinakabahan, nakakaexcite pala ito)

Alright, hindi pa dyan nagtatapos. Do not remove your blindfold yet. As part of this ritual, Ms.
__________ and Mr. ____________ will have their sweet dance habang nakablindfold pa rin sila.
Hahawak si Ms. _______ sa balikat ni Mr. ___________ habang si Mr._____________ naman ay
hahawak sa bewang ni Ms. _____________. Alright, let’s play the music.

(After dance, reveal partner)

Now it’s time to reveal your partner. Pagbilang ko ng tatlo, sabay ninyong aalisin ang blindfold
ninyo. 1..2..3!
(Interview the guy)
Ano yung feeling habang sinusuotan mo ng garter at isinasayaw ang partner mong si _______?
