Some people prefer to prepare and eat at home. Others think that it is
better to eat in restaurants.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Answer:
Over the past few years, family meals have become an important issue in
many households. Some people believe that eating at home is healthy, while I
accept that eating at home is a good choice, I argue that eating in restaurants
also has its good points. In this essay, I am going to discuss both sides of the
argument.
Answer 2
Over the past few years, people have been interested in not only what and how
they eat but also where they eat. Some people believe that it is more and more
convenient to have a meal at a restaurant. Others think family meals are very vey
important. In my opinion, both sides of the arguments have their benefits.
To begin with, there are many reasons why people prefer eating their meals
at home. The first reason is that home cooked food is healthier for people. We
can know the origin of the food we buy and where to buy it. Furthermore, We
are free to cook according to our personal taste and preferences, and we can
control not only the amount of oil, but also the amount of we use, and we can
balance our diet to suit our own individual needs.
Secondly, eating at home is much more comfortable than having dinner or lunch
in restaurants. When eating at home you can talk and exchange with family
members about everything in your life so you can relax after a hard working day.
Moreover, We can wear comfortable clothes like casual clothes; even pyjamas.
We can sit in a comfortable position in our favorite chair, on the sofa or on the
floor.
However, some people believe that eating at restaurants can be a very
pleasurable experience. Firstly, they will have a chance to enjoy a variety of
food. The restaurant's menu has a variety of dishes that we can't cook at home.
Secondly, eating at restaurants helps people save time. People nowadays are
extremely busy with their work and they don’t have time to prepare meals at
home. Therefore, eating at restauranst is a great choice for busy people.

Some people think that learning only takes place in a particular place and at
a particular period of time. Others argue that learning should be a continuous
process rather than a stage in a person’s life. That is the reason why many
people believe that it is never too late to learn. (Agree/disagree)
Answer
Some people believe that learning only takes place in a particular place and at a
particular period of time. While I accept this opinion, I totally agree that
learning is the process of gaining knowledge and learning new skills
throughout your life, and it is never too late to learn. In this essay, I am going
to discuss both sides of the argument.
On the one hand, it is a fact that parents are obliged by law to send their
children to school when they reach a certain age. Therefore, young people
have to go to school to complete their educational path from primary to
high school and then to university to study a career. It is believed that
when people are trained in the framework of education, their
educational level can be easily identified when they have completed a
certain grade in a certain school. Besides, the school curriculums are
designed and tested by the Ministry of Education and Training to make
sure the graduates meet the labor needs of society. Obviously, people’s
learning normally takes place in a particular school and at a certain age.
On the other hand, learning is a lifelong process and it's never too late
to learn. Many people continue their education for career development
and personal fulfillment after university graduation. They may take post
graduate courses in their professional field or learn from the experienced
or elderly people. They believe that lifelong learning can enhance their
understanding of the world around them; provide them with more and
better opportunities to improve their quality of life. and helps them
improve self-confidence as well as being knowledgeable ones.

Over the past twenty years, television has become an indispensable part in
every household. It benefits people in many ways. While I accept that TV
has a positive impact on its viewers, I believe that children can be
unfavorably impacted by continually watching television. In this essay I shall
discuss both sides of the arguments.
On the one hand, it can be noted that television programs are
undeniably beneficial for everyone from the elderly to the children. Firstly,
television programs bring entertainment and stress relief. For example, after
school hours, when young people get home, they can watch entertainment
programs to relieve pressure at school. Moreover, at the time of watching TV,
the members can freely discuss about the day's issues, which helps them get
closer. Secondly, TV brings a variety of knowledge to children. Some
educational programs on TV broadcast to give children the necessary living
skills in society, for example watching television program named “Men vs
wild” children can learn how to overcome difficulties for their survival.
However, TV has brought many disadvantages for children. Sex, crime,
and violence are frequently shown on television and may have negative effects
on vunerable children who see violent acts tend to display aggressive or violent
behavior and also to believe that the world is a scary place and that something
bad is going happen to them, which directly affects children’s perception and
life styles. At the same time, allowing children to be constantly in contact with

Some people may argue that many Vietnamese students study English for
years but not many of them can use English to communicate well. In
order to improve the quality of English learning and teaching in
Vietnam. It is strongly recommended that English should be taught by
native teachers only.(Agree/disagree)
Answer:
Some individuals believe that learning English with a native teacher is better
for Vietnamese students. However, I do not totally agree with this opinion. In
this essay, I am going to discuss the reasons for that.
On the one hand, it can be noted that learning English with native teachers
would be very beneficial in developing students’ English listening and
speaking skills. They have advantages with their native pronunciation and
accent, so they speak English better than Vietnamese teachers, and they can
facilitate students to pronounce the words correctly, which helps improve
communication skill. Besides, when students are regularly exposed to the
English-speaking environment, they not only can have a native- like accent,
but also can be more confident in communicating with others in English.
Secondly, they also teach Vietnamese students about native cultures, which
helps Vietnamese students broaden their understanding of English-speaking
country cultures better.
However, being native teachers does not mean they are qualified enough to
teach. Firstly, Vietnamese teachers have generally studied the grammar and
structures of the English language in a more thorough way than native
teachers, and they can actually explain the grammar rules more clearly. As a
result, students can fully understand and use them effectively. Secondly,
native teachers have difficulty in understanding learners’ needs in case of

Art is regarded as an important part in the culture of every country in the
world. However, more and more children seem to have less interest in art.
Some people think that art is being inspired. Do you agree or disagree?
Answer:
Over the past few years, art has played an important role in the culture of
every country in the world. Some people believe that more and more children
seem to have less interest in art, and while I accept with this opinion, I argue
that art is being inspired. In this essay, I shall discuss both sides of the
argument.
On the one hand, it can be noted that more and more children seem to
have less interest in art. First, when they were young, they went to school to
learn math, chemistry and physics more than literature. Second, most parents
want their children to become a doctor, a scientist or an officer, not an artist or a
music player. Simply because they think that doing art cannot have a good salary
and needs much money and time to succeed. Furthermore, they think that art
should be watched only.
On the other hand, people should recognize that art is being inspired.
Firstly, by many different ways, there are some variety clubs for students in
schools to perform art on special occasions. Also, schools usually organize
competitions in singing, dancing, drawing, and so on so that the students can

Over the past few years, cutting of trees for housing, agriculture, wood has
caused serious consequences for the environment, especially air pollution.
Some people argue that the government is responsible for solving air
pollution. I strongly disagree with this opinion. In my view, both the
government and individuals should join hands in protecting the air from
pollution.
On the one hand, it is a fact that forests is the green lung of our Earth. We
depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we
use. Besides, forests provide habitats for animals and livelihood for human.
The consequences of deforestation are soil erosion, floods, and air pollution,
biodiversity loss, climate change, which seriously impact on people lives.
Therefore, each individual must be responsible for protecting forests.
They should not cut trees indiscriminately. Seedlings should be planted at
regular intervals to replace for trees cut down.
On the other hand, I believe that the government should come up with some
solutions to protect forests. Firstly, they should campaign forest protection to
promote awareness of environmental issues and the bad effect of deforestation.
Secondly, the government should establish national parks or reserves to protect
forests and wildlife. What is more, the government should measures to deal
with illegal loggers and timber smugglers and strictly take strong control the
planning of afforestation and timber exploitation as well as restore damaged
ecosystems by planting trees on land where forests have been cut down. Finally,
hefty fines or punishments should be imposed on those who violate the law of
forest protection.
