My Insights

A community's way of life, history, and traditions are shown via the crafts they
produce. Because of the Philippines' abundant natural resources, which support their culture
and aid in survival, Filipinos are noted for being extremely inventive in arts and crafts. Wood
carving, weaving, and pottery are now considered forms of art and crafts. They make use of the
many natural resources found in their surroundings, including marble, seashells, nipa palm, pia,
bamboo, rattan, and nipa palm. These materials are used to make goods that might be profitable
for them as well as for their daily needs.

Some of them are compelled to leave their homes due of particular problems, which forces
them to live in other cities like Manila where it is difficult for them to adapt to daily life. Since I've
developed my creativity and discovered that these crafts may be extremely lucrative, I truly wish that
they can live peacefully in their homeland as they once did.

I learned how to socially communicate with others who create these things so they could show
me how to do it. Making such crafts takes a lot of time, so I also learned to be patient.
