(a) E-ticketing

 This can be booked, and purchased online and the electronic ticket can be printed

any time 24 hours a day.

 An e-ticket (electronic ticket) is a paperless electronic document used for

ticketing purposes, such as airfare or concert admission (Hanna, 2022 Para.1)

 Based on the above tourist can purchase tickets to any destination online rather

than going directly to the destination.

(b) Internet booking (reservations)

 An online booking system is a software solution and reservation system that

makes it simple for guests to book and pay for their tours and activities online.
The advantages of an online reservation system according to Tjoe (2021)

include:

 Deliver an amazing user experience for your guests

 Improve the security of online payments for your guests

 Easily capture guest data to help with other business areas, such as tour

management and marketing

 Offer promotions and special pricing to boost bookings in quiet times and off-

seasons

 Gain insights into how and why guests book with you – and use this to drive new

bookings!

(c) Information gathering

 ICT helps tourists who have not experienced traveling by providing information,

recommendation, and booking information that is related to tourist destinations on online

applications such as Booking.com, Agoda, and Google services.

(d) Advertising

 Multimedia is a way to promote the travel industry, such as Instagram, Facebook, and

TripAdvisor. ICT can create photo and graphic designs that tourism suppliers need to

advertise their products.

(e) Feedback

 ICT tools facilitate the process of giving timely, relevant, and effective feedback to both

tourists and agencies responsible for the development of tourism in a particular region.
