The Holiday

One of my favorite films is called “The Holiday”. The main actors are Kate Winslet and
Cameron Diaz as Iris and Amanda, and Jack Black and Jude Law as Miles and Graham. It is a
2006 romantic comedy film written, produced, and directed by Nancy Meyers.

The story is about two women who still like their ex-boyfriend and, to get away from it all, they
both decide to go on holiday to pass Christmas and New Year. They meet on a home-swapping
site, and they agree to switch houses for two weeks starting the next day.

Iris goes to Amanda’s house in LA, and Amanda goes to Iris’s house in England. They meet two
boys and fall in love with them. Iris falls in love with Miles a friend of Amanda and also one of
her ex-boyfriends. And Amanda falls in love with Graham, Iris’s brother.

I love this film because it's a very enjoyable film and also because I love the actors. I really
recommend it.
