The notebook

“The notebook” this film is inspired in the 1940´s is about the romantic drama genre,
written by Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi and directed by Nick Cassavetes. The main actors in
this films are Ryan gosling and Rachel McAdams.
The film tells the romance of Noah and Allie during summer of 1940 in a small town of
Seabrook. All starts at the town fair when Noah is attracted to her from the first moment.
Although she goes with a group of friends he decided to do something crazy to get a date
and Allie accepts, they start dating a lot and them they fall in love but the Allie´s parents
are against the relationship for the social status.
Allie´s parents decide to leave of town and Noah promises to write to her daily. He writes
letter for her for 365 days and never got a response from her because her mother hides
every letter and Allie never find out. They meet again after a long time and the passion and
love are revived. All this story is told by an old men who reads a journal to a lady with
Alzheimer and the end is something much unexpected.
Honestly I feel that it’s an excellent film, it shows how social status mattered in a
relationship and also inform us that the true love exists despite the difficult, I can be say
that it is a typical love story but not, it reflect many feelings of reality. I recommend this
film for people who enjoy the romance and drama.
