The Memorable Diary; “The Notebook” Movie Review

Introduction
We know that Book and Novel adaptations are sometimes good and sometimes bad, but
this romantic drama hit like a truck if you’re a fan of some movie that can make your heart beat
go fast but also made you broken and on despair then I recommend you this best-selling novel
that get am adaptation and turned into a movie that is written by the one and long Mr. Nicholas
Sparks. The name of this movie is The Notebook, it is released in the year 2004 starting by The
most handsome man Officer K, the man behind the meme “I can fix you” Mr. Ryan Gosling as
Noah Calhoun and With the female lead you know her from doctor strange Ms. Rachel McAdams
as Allie Nelson, Two people that met in the right time and continue their Love Story until they
became old portrayed by Mr. James Garner and Gena Rowlands.

Plot summary
Teenager Allie Nelson and her family have a mansion that they go to every summer in
1930, in the small town of New Bern, North Carolina, and also in that town Allie meet her love
which is Noah Calhoun, They fall In love with each other by doing something’s that make the
couple happy and both of them promise to they will always be together, but Allie leaves with her
family and Noah don’t hear a single thing about Allie for fourteen years. But still Noah trying to
reach Allie by sending an letter to her, but she received no reply from Allie. Allie will later on
learn why the letter that Noah wrote for her will be hid by her mother. Because Allie’s Family
don’t agree to Noah getting their daughter.
After fourteen years return to New Bern to tell Noah that she is engaged with a guy name
Lon Hammond which is an charming and handsome attorney. But her and Lon doesn’t have a
good relationship. Allie and Noah get together again and became a couple once again and fall In
love with each other. Allie’s mother now knowing why she goes back to New Bern so she goes
and visit them to Noah’s house and Allie’s mother give her the letter that she hides and she said
to Allie that do what every she wants. That also the time Noah ended his writing to him and Allie
story and returned to the present day. Allie left Lon and returned to New Bern and create a family
with Noah. Allie became a famous painter they travelled together with their 5 children. With only
four surviving.
This story is made by a man that want her wife to remember how much they love each
other and the memories they have with each other. Because Allie now have an dementia and
completely no memories of Noah, but Allie read an notebook that a story written on it .What a
story of a cute couple having a family wonder what will happen at the very end. No spoilers but
this time your enemy is “time”. Both of them are having a good life but until what time is this
going to exist?
Description
The movie the notebook have a slow paced rhythm to it that goes back to present and to
the past Have a good nature scene and cinematography that help the mood of the character’s feel
by the watcher to feel the love of two people, the story of two couple that have a good starting
point but is it until the end?
The also have a good choice of actors like Ryan Gosling, we know Ryan Gosling as an
action pact man, cool dude and strong for his other movies, but this surprise me as an Ryan
Gosling fan From being an action pact man he became a lover boy teenager by the help of her
first love.
Also her love in this story the woman who is bring back by love, Ms. Rachel McAdams I
know her from the movie doctor strange she is Doctor Strange girlfriend he also knows for the
movie the “Mean Girls” and from this movie we can see the difference between a bully to a
lovely charismatic woman who will fight for his love what ever it takes.

Analysis
This movie tackles about the love that you want for you whole life, a love that can make
every people happy. It is a representation of two people who truly love each other until the very
end, they show loved despite being a poor and a rich person and other challenges that both of
them overcome and have a happy life. Some people say that it is just like “Romeo and Juliet”, but
the story or the movie is something that will say to you that love is not based on what you and
your partner have memories of, and remember it also tells us about it’s not only about the mind
but also from our heart that will recognize our true feelings.

Conclusion/Evaluation
The movie is so fun even me who doesn’t have an relationship love it. The movie is also
well written that why it have the fame and recognition it have for through the years. The actors is
also great at portraying their roles of the two couples. Although the movie is like other movies
who have the same treatment, it have an unique appeal to it, to the point that you getting
emotional at the same time the characters are having a hard time. Which is why this movie is
good it reach out to us audience to feel the emotions of two people who love each other at the
very end.
