The Notebook (2004)

"If I'm a bird, you're a bird." This iconic phrase is

the beginning of a story that shows how love can
rule the destiny of two people who are destined to
be together. The Notebook is a romantic drama
that was directed by Nick Cassavetes (director of
movies like John Q and My Sister's Keeper) and
was released in 2004. The film won 10 prizes of 12
nominations.

The most iconic scene was when Allie and Noah

met again after 14 years (cover) and closed their
love with a long kiss in the rain. The main character
were Ryan Gosling as Noah Calhoun and James
Garner as old Noah, and Rachel McAdams as Allie
Nelson and Gena Rowlands as old Allie. Both
protagonists thoroughly prepared their role. Their
work was wonderful and very natural, so much so
that they fell in love during and after the filming of
the movie. Thanks to this, they became an icon of love.

The film is about an old man that visits a woman. He reads to her a book about the story
about of two young: Noah Calhoun and Allie Nelson. All starts in the summer of 1932 where
they meet and fall passionately in love. However, the class gap and Allie's parents separated
the beautiful couple. Fourteen years later, in 1946, Noah returned to Seabrook, South
Carolina. Allie, a few days before married another man, visits Noah's house. There they
relive the summer that they both enjoyed together. "It was an impossible romance. He was a
country boy and she was a city girl. She had the world at her feet, while he had nowhere to
fall dead." Could the love that one day allowed to write this story be able to face the destiny
that separates them? You should find out it.

On a scale of 1-10, this movie deserves a 7.6. Although the movie could have been more
exciting, we recommend "The Notebook" because the film recreated many issues of real life,
so that the audience could probably identity. And remember: It’s a excellent movie for who
has doubt if the love matter and learner a beautiful lesson of the life.
