There are times in adolescence when your romantic feelings change on a dime.

Perhaps it's hormonal. The girl you thought was a bother becomes the love of your life.

The boy you've had a crush on for years starts to come across as a jerk. The timing is

incorrect. When you look back half a lifetime, you can see how things might have turned

out differently if you hadn't been so stupid. "Flipped" by Rob Reiner does the searching.

Rob Reiner co-wrote and directed the 2010 American romantic comedy-drama

film Flipped, which is based on Wendelin Van Draanen's 2001 novel of the same name.

 Two eighth-graders who are complete opposites start to develop feelings for one

another are the subject of the movie. Warner Bros.' Flipped premiered in theaters on

August 6, 2010 in the US. Pictures.

This sweet film is about a girl who has loved a boy since the second grade, when

he moved into the neighborhood. She pursues him all the way through elementary

school and through high school; they resemble the runners in Keats' "Ode on a Grecian

Urn," who run after one another endlessly without ever getting closer. Flip and begin

running in the opposite direction in Reiner's movie.

Second-graders Juli and Bryce instantly click when they first meet. Bryce isn't so

sure, though. Young Bryce does everything in his power to keep his outspoken would-

be girlfriend at a distance because he has a fear of girls and is easily embarrassed. for

the following six years, which is challenging given that they attend the same school and

are neighbors. But if Juli eventually turns her gaze elsewhere, will Bryce then become

transfixed? Bryce and Juli are followed from elementary school to junior high as they

experience triumph and tragedy, family strife and first love while learning the lessons

that will define who they are and who they are to one another in "Flipped."

The movie Flipped is very innocent and sweet. It transports you back to the first

"love" you ever professed in your youth. You won't be let down by the actors'

performances, especially the two young protagonists who did a really good job of

expressing every emotion honestly. Despite the story's relatively slow parts, it is not at

all tedious. Every scene will be entertaining. I really liked how they depicted the

emotions, which, as the name implies, take a turn. Even though the story is

straightforward, many people can relate to it, making it touching.

 Some films genuinely only aim to tell a narrative. An uplifting, moving story with

endearing characters whose lives you just spent an hour and thirty minutes invested in.

One such movie is Flipped. Despite the fact that it's undoubtedly about puppy love and

the gorgeous eyes you see when you first meet your crush. This film examines how

such a young love is surrounded by so many different emotions and feelings in an

honest and realistic way.
