 What are the Romantic
Movies?

Romantic cinema focuses on the representation of a love story.

This cinematographic genre explores arguments based on
situations such as:
• Love at first sight
• Tragic love
• Destructive love and
• Impossible love
Romantic cinema shows us situations that would hinder the
continuity of love between the couple that stars in the film's plot

Love obstacles include:

 perception of an impossible love
 Infidelity
 love incompatibility
 love-hate
 illness, money, social discrimination
 and the intervention of people who want to end the love of the
couple.

• This movie is about two best friends who have known

each other since they were children, they grew up
together but it was time to go to university and he
decided to go to Boston to study.
• they never expressed their feelings as time passed she
had a baby and he got married but the feeling I was
always there they met again but they separated again
as time went by and he realized that he could not live
without her and he returned to where she was and
stayed together

• Rosie and Alex are best friends until the family moves
to America. They risk everything to keep their love and
friendship alive over the years and miles.
– In the previous slides I was able to
give two examples about some of
the romantic genres between a
disabled person who was captivated
by a simple woman with only her
smile but with a not happy ending
and in the other example two
friends who fell in love and stayed
together and if there were happy
ending.
