About 54% of Filipinos support amendment of the 1987 Constitution

Support for the amendment of the 1987 Constitution has increased to 53.93%, a rise of 1.93% from the
previous survey conducted on March 12-15. Strong support for charter change is observed among
respondents from Visayas, Southern Luzon, and the Bicol Region. Disagreement is more common among
respondents from Mindanao, the National Capital Region (NCR), and from Socio Economic Class ABC.

Seven out of ten respondents perceive the advantages of charter change to include the creation of more
jobs for Filipinos, an increase in salaries and work benefits, and higher economic growth. However, 20% of
respondents express concerns about a potential worsening of corruption, while another 20% fear that
various national issues may be deprioritized. An additional 17% mention an increase in foreign competitors
in financial markets as a perceived disadvantage of charter change.

Regarding Economic Charter Change, 54.93% of respondents agree that there should be amendments to
the economic provisions in the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines. Strong support economic charter
change is driven by respondents from Visayas, and from Socio Economic Class ABC.

The Constitutional Amendment survey was conducted via a mobile-based respondent application, involving
a sample size of 1,500 participants. With a Margin of Error of +/- 2.50% at a 95% Confidence Level) .The
survey utilized a Stratified Random Sampling method (Quota Based Sampling). The participant distribution
was geographically spread across the Philippines, with 12% from NCR, 23% from Northern Luzon, 22%
from Southern Luzon, 20% from Visayas, and 23% from Mindanao.
