Quantitative research is applied in this study. According to Sreekumar D. (2023) Quantitative

research is the process of collecting and analyzing numerical data to describe, predict, or control

variables of interest. This type of research helps in testing the causal relationships between

variables, making predictions, and generalizing results to wider populations. The researchers will

use descriptive method as it enables the researchers to determine a population, circumstance, and

phenomenon precisely and methodically. Descriptive research is a quantitative method that

gathers quantifiable data to statistically analyze a population sample. These numbers can show

patterns, connections, and trends over time and can be discovered using surveys, polls, and

experiments. (Dovetail Editorial Team, 2023)

Data is collected through methods like surveys, interviews, correlation studies, observation

studies, or content analysis. The researchers will employ quantitative research because the goal

of this study is to collect numerical data and specify it across all participants. The statistical data

obtained will be used to interpret the results. The researchers will adopt a descriptive since the

study will assess the impact of G-cash Application as a Modern Bank System in Valenzuela City.

n this paper, we will examine the problems that Filipinos encounter before and after using G-
Cash, a popular digital payment and money transfer platform in the Philippines. Before using G-
Cash, Filipinos often encountered several problems related to cash transactions. These problems
included the inconvenience of handling cash, the need to queue in banks to withdraw money, and
limited availability of banking services for cash-related shopping (Enojas et al., 2023). After using G-
Cash, Filipinos may experience a shift in their financial transactions. Before using G-Cash,
Filipinos often faced the inconvenience of handling cash. They had to carry large amounts of
cash with them, which made them vulnerable to theft or loss. After using G-Cash, Filipinos can
now enjoy the convenience of digital transactions.
