Beyond the Cage

When looking into the unknown one can see

That it is indeed a thing that may frighten both you and me

Unsettling darkness engulfs many in uncertainty

Still, people tell you to push, but it sounds like an absurdity

Despite that, one must remember

That fear is normal and it can light an ember

With that ember you can choose to care

And with that care you may even soar through the air

Cause without the unknown life would be bland

So what matters is knowing when you are ready to make that jump
and possibly land

For the unknown can be ominous

But it can also ignite the fire that keeps you and peace
synonymous

Some may even say it unlocks the cage you once could never gage
