to its diverse user base. To achieve this goal, insightful data analysis plays a pivotal role.
Introducing the Netflix Dashboard built in Tableau, a powerful tool that enables
comprehensive visualization and analysis of Netflix's vast repository of user data.
This dashboard serves as a dynamic interface for stakeholders within Netflix to
explore and
interpret key metrics, trends, and insights that shape content strategy, user engagement, and
business decisions. From tracking viewership metrics to understanding content performance
across different demographics, the Netflix Dashboard provides a holistic view of the
streaming platform's ecosystem. Through interactive visualizations and intuitive filters, users
can delve deep into data subsets, uncovering actionable insights with ease. This dashboard is
designed to cater to various stakeholders within Netflix, including content creators, marketers,
and executives. Whether optimizing content recommendations, refining marketing strategies,
or assessing regional performance, the Netflix Dashboard empowers users to make data-

Objectives/Scope of the Analysis:
The primary objectives of the analysis include:

• Understanding sales trends and patterns in the Indian market.


• Identifying top-selling products and product categories.
• Exploring regional variations in sales performance.
• The scope of the analysis covers a comprehensive examination of Netflix data in
India, focusing on key metrics such as quantity sold, sales amount, and product
categories.

Data Source:
The dataset used for this dashboard is sourced from Kaggle's e-commerce sales dataset,
focusing specifically on Netflix Usage. It encompasses a wide range of attributes, including
product category, size, date, quantity, amount, and more. With over 130,000 rows of data, the
dataset provides a rich source for analyzing various aspects of Netflix Usage operations in
India.

Dashboard Overview:
The dashboard offers a user-friendly interface with multiple interactive visualizations and
KPIs. Users can dynamically explore the data by applying filters based on categories, dates,
and geographical regions. The goal is to empower users with actionable insights to drive
strategic decision-making and enhance performance.

Analysis on Dataset:
• The analysis comprises several key components aimed at exploring different
aspects of Netflix usage in India.
• The dataset consists of 24 fields and approximately 130,000 rows, offering a
comprehensive view of operations. It includes attributes such as category, size, date,
quantity, amount, and more, providing rich insights into sales performance.
• Each analysis requires specific functions and formulas to extract meaningful insights
from the dataset. Functions such as SUM, COUNT, and DISTINCT are utilized,
along with Tableau's calculation features to derive relevant metrics
• The analysis reveals various insights, including:
 Netflix usage trends over time, highlighting peak periods and fluctuations.
 Regional variations in sales performance, identifying areas of opportunity and
growth.
• Visualizations such as stacked bar charts, maps, and highlight tables are employed
to visually represent the analysis results, making it easier for stakeholders to
interpret and understand the data.

Quantity by State Map:
This visualization presents the geographical distribution of sales across different states in

Quantity and Amount by Week and Category: These charts provide a temporal view of sales
trends over weeks, segmented by product categories. Users can identify peak sales periods
and track the performance of individual categories over time.

Quantity by Size and Category: By visualizing quantity based on product size categories,
users can identify size preferences among customers and optimize inventory management
accordingly.

Horizontal Bar Charts:


Top 10 States by Quantity and Category: This visualization highlights the top states in terms
of sales quantity across different product categories. It helps identify regions with high
demand and potential areas for market expansion.

Quantity by Status and Category: By categorizing sales quantity based on users can track the
fulfillment process and identify any bottlenecks affecting sales performance.

Donut Chart:
Quantity by Order Status and Category: This chart provides a breakdown of sales quantity by
order status within each product category. Users can identify the distribution of completed
orders, canceled orders, and other status categories, facilitating order management and
customer service efforts.

Total Quantity:

• Create a calculated field named "Total Quantity" to calculate the overall quantity
of consumer usage.
• Display the total quantity of products sold, serving as a primary indicator of
sales volume and market demand.
