PREAMBLE

Digital signal processing is the application of mathematical operation on digital signals. DSP
processors are used to measure, filter or compress continuous real-world analog signals. It is a
specialized microprocessor with its architecture optimized to combat the operational needs of digital
signal processing. This course will introduce the learners the basic architecture concepts of digital
signal processors and help them to familiarize on peripherals, addressing modes and the application
programs for processing the signals. This is used for real time signal processing.

PREREQUISITE
