Materials Needed:
Alize cotton gold yarn in red, black, and white colors
Stuffing
Sewing needle
Abbreviations:
MC – Magic circle
sc – Single crochet
dec – Decrease
inc – Increase
ch – Chain
sl st – Slip stitch
PATTERN
Legs (6 pieces) in black color:
Row 1: 6 sc in MC
Row 20: (work on the back loop) 5 sc, 4 sc together with the first leg, 2 sc, dec, 2 sc, 4 sc
together with the leg, 4 sc, dec, 4 sc together with the leg, 8 sc, dec, 8 sc, dec, 4 sc together with
the leg, 5 sc, 4 sc together with the leg, sc, dec, 3 sc, 4 sc together with the leg, 4 sc, dec (72)
Row 31: 6 dec. Close the hole, secure the yarn, cut off.
Head (in black):
Row 1: 6 sc in MC
Row 7: 36 sc
Rows 9-10: 42 sc. Secure and cut off the yarn. Sew to the body as shown in the photo.
Row 1: 6 sc in MC
Secure and cut off the yarn. Sew to the body and embroider the central stripe in black.
Eyes:
White (2 pieces):
Row 1: 6 sc in MC
Black (2 pieces):
5 sc in MC, sl st. Secure and cut off the yarn.
Antennae (2 pieces):
I crochet together black yarn and thread (it helps the antennae hold shape better).
Chain 12, hdc in the second chain from the hook, 10 sl st along the chain.
