For the FIRST time ever Hapusa is bringing

to you ‘The Forager’s Championship’. This championship
invites the most creative and adventurous bartenders
to the Heart of Hapusa, The Himalayas.

Bartenders must make the most of foraged local ingredients

to win over the “judges” who happen to be their fellow competitors.

We welcome bartenders across

four countries: India, Italy, UK and Thailand.

The chosen Champions will win

an all-expense paid 4 night/5 days journey
to the Heart of Hapusa, The Himalayas.

This journey will be a mix of exploration

in the Himalayan outdoors as well as cultural immersion
with the locals, culminating in a bar takeover
at one of India’s best bars.

In addition, champions chosen from India

will have an opportunity to participate
in an international takeover with Hapusa
during the year.
 STAGE 1
FINALISTS SELECTION
ROUND 1 / ONLINE VIDEO SUBMISSION
A. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Indian market will be divided into four distinct zones
mentioned below. Bartenders within the mentioned zones
will be eligible to participate by submitting their entries.

ZONE 1
Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Rajasthan

ZONE 2
Mumbai, Pune

ZONE 4
Goa

ZONE 3
Bangalore, Kolkata, Assam
ROUND 1 / ONLINE VIDEO SUBMISSION
B. HOW TO ENTER
Submit your entries with a video pitching your cocktail.
We want to know the name, process, concept, story
behind it, and what makes this cocktail unique.

Post from your bar’s Instagram handle and tag

the @hapusagin Instagram account for your entry
to be considered. Multiple entries from the same bar
are allowed, but each individual can only submit their
entry once.

C. JUDGING CRITERIA
1. RECIPE
Your cocktail needs to feature Hapusa Himalayan Dry Gin
and at least one foraged local ingredient

2. BALANCE OF FLAVOUR
Do your ingredients work well and in harmony
in the cocktail?

3. PRESENTATION
How does your cocktail look visually?

4. SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO

60 second video of you presenting your cocktail
and sharing the story behind it.

Entries will be accepted from 20th April till 8th May.

The brand will announce a list of 15 bartenders

on 15th May that will proceed to Round 2.
ROUND 2 / HAPUSA PROMOTIONAL MENU
In Round 2, the shortlisted bartenders will host
a two-week promotion at their respective bars,
featuring their unique Hapusa cocktail.

During this promotion, an anonymous jury comprising

industry experts and consumers will conduct surprise tastings
to evaluate each showcased cocktail’s quality, creativity,
and overall appeal.

Based on the evaluations, the top 10 bartenders

from each zone will be designated to advance further
in the competition.

The Hapusa Promotional Menu will need

to be activated from 31st May to 16th June.

The brand will announce a list of 10 bartenders

on 20th June that will proceed to the next stage.
 STAGE 2
INDIA CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Ten finalists will be invited to compete
in one of the 4 Championships held across the country.
Each mixologist shall present their unique Hapusa Gin cocktail
and share the story behind it.

THE TWIST
Judges are not distant critics but fellow competitors–
10 skilled bartenders evaluate each other’s creations.

The bartender who captures hearts through their drink

and story-telling is chosen by the group to be their representative,
carrying the spirit of the group to the next level.

All country finalists will receive an invitation and full agenda

from our team ahead of the Championship.

The Champions from across India and the world will be hosted
in the Himalayas for the Forager’s Journey
in the month of September.
 STAGE 3 / THE PRIZE
FORAGER’S JOURNEY
In the spirit of adventure, we want to share with the Champions the story
of our juniper, as well as a piece of mountain culture, which we love
and champion through every sip of our gin.

The Champions will be invited to an all-expense paid 4 night/5 days

journey to the Heart of Hapusa–The Himalayas. The Champions
will spend time in the Himalayan outdoors where they will forage
ingredients create a cocktail that embodies the spirit of Hapusa.
They will have the opportunity to present this cocktail to selected
guests during a takeover at one of India’s best bars.

The Champions from each country will receive an invitation

and full agenda ahead of the Forager’s Journey.
 terms and conditions
1. The competition is open to professional bartenders from participating countries
(India, UK, Italy, and Thailand).
2. Bartenders must be legally eligible to travel internationally and possess a valid
passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of travel.
3. Each entry must be accompanied by a detailed recipe, a foraged ingredient,
including precise measurements and instructions for preparation.
4. Entries must be submitted within the specified timeframe, adhering to any deadlines
set forth by the competition organizers.
5. Finalists selected for the Forager’s Journey must be available to travel
on the Forager’s Journey during the specified timeline.
6. Finalists are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas or travel documents
required for international travel. However, all expenses related to visa, travel,
accommodation, meals, and activities during the Forager’s Journey will be covered
by the competition organizers.
7. All cocktails across the different rounds will be judged based on taste, presentation,
creativity, and storytelling ability.
8. Judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the competition.
9. By participating in the competition, bartenders grant the competition organizers
the right to use their cocktail recipes, names, images, and reproduce them
if required for promotional purposes.
10. Participants are expected to always conduct themselves in a professional
and respectful manner during the competition.
11. Participants acknowledge and agree that the competition organizers, sponsors,
and affiliated entities will not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims
arising from participation in the competition.
12. Any disputes or discrepancies will be resolved at the discretion of the competition
organizers, and their decisions will be final.
13. Participants are encouraged to carefully review and understand the terms
and conditions before entering the competition.
