Dear John Brian:

CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done. You are a recipient of the Negros Occidental Chapter Scholarship grant under
the provincial scholarship awards. Through your hard work and determination, you have proven to be a student that Your
Community Foundation wants to recognize and encourage continuing your educational effort.

This scholarship will be sent directly to the school listed on your application, indicating that it can be used for tuition, fees,
or books, and should be treated as a scholarship of additional funds to you, not simply to “replace” other school funds given
in your financial packet.

In order for the organization to issue the first payment, you will need to contact the school you are attending to get proof of
enrollment. You can have the school send it directly to our office. This gives us the necessary verification to send the first
payment to your school and for you to have use of the funds. After we receive the proof of enrollment for the first payment,
we will contact your school to verify enrollment for subsequent payments. Each time a payment is made you will receive a
copy of the cheque and the letter that was sent to your school. Payments will be made in the early third and fourth quarter of
the school year. This scholarship is granted until your final year in college, contingent upon your verification as a full-time
student.

After that, we will be having an orientation together with giving of certificates to all scholars indicating the terms and
conditions, amount of personal scholarship (to be sent in your bank account), and other related matters. Further information
will be given.
