I. Executive Summary

Brigada Eskwela has become a yearly routine of the teachers and

parents every 3rd week of May well before this pandemic. However, this
time the school has doubled its effort urging parents and stakeholders to
join in once again for this cause regardless of this world crisis.

Unafraid yet aware of the potential outcomes, the parents and

teachers are continually observing health protocols by wearing protective
gears while participating in the Brigada Eskwela projects. They observed
social distancing and avoid too much talking while at work. Both parents
and teachers were actively engaged in the preparation of a safe and
beautiful school with high hopes in mind for the coming face-to-face
learning of the children.

All are hopeful of the positive outcomes of the invested effort, time
and money for the learning parks, gulayan, paghahayupan, fertilizer, MRF,
etc. Our goal is to make the school self-sufficient where both teachers and
parents can maintain its sustainablity, "Para sa bata, para sa Bayan!".

equitable education system?

preparing the school for face-to-face classes in the new normal. To quote,
“Be the CHANGE you wish to see in the world”.

Rationale:

“Uswag Babag Uno sa Brigada Eskwela 2020”

Brigada Eskwela builds oneness and cooperation among the school

community and the stakeholders. With the thought of contributing and cooperating
for the welfare of the school where their children study, unity and motivation come
internally among them. With the spirit of BAYANIHAN, a huge and heavy work
becomes smaller and lighter. The camaraderie among stakeholders was also
developed and keeps alive.

Babag I Elementary School ranked 1st as the Division Winner in the 2020
Best Brigada Eskwela School Implementer - Mega Category. With this opportunity to
represent in the regional competition, its faculty, parents, stakeholders, LGU and
private individuals gave their full support making sure that our mission has been
addressed. Through this Brigada Eskwela program, our school becomes self-
sufficient where both teachers and parents can maintain its sustainability.

With Brigada Eskwela program, Babag I Elementary School turns into a child-
friendly environment, conducive to learning, pleasing and inviting to the eyes of the
learners due to its neatness and orderliness. In entirety, our school is ready and safe
to serve in the new normal Filipino students who are dreaming and thinking about
schools as one of the major factors to understand and realize their ambitions in life.
And as a member of the community, one can contribute for the success of this
meaningful activity. Each and everyone have a role to play to lighten the work. No
matter how small or big the contribution that one shares, may it be in monetary value
or in kind, definitely it will have an impact in the life of our learners.

So let us be the CHANGE we wish to see in the world. Always take part,
contribute and participate. Because our share and contribution in the Brigada
Eskwela are important, "Para sa bata, para sa Bayan!".
