I voluntarily removed this document approximately a week ago, not due to any fault or

guilt on our part, but because we were informed that Jandel wanted it deleted and would
cease bothering us. As a team, we are fully aware that we did not engage in any
wrongdoing. We repeatedly offered to conduct a thorough comparison, including assets,
as evidenced in the screenshots below, but Jandel declined. This responsibility lies with
Jandel, not us. The only reason for his tweet is his failure to anticipate our success and
subsequent backtrack. We refuse to be intimidated or coerced, and we believe this
situation underscores the right to defend oneself when innocent. The AnimeClash team
will not address this further as we are focused on our upcoming launch. Wishing
everyone a pleasant day ahead. As small developers we need to stick up for ourselves no
matter how much influence or power the other developer has. Have a good day everyone.

Dear Jandel,

(I just wanted to let you know that putting this document together has been a bit nerve-wracking
for me. But hey, I've been hanging out on Roblox for about six years now—although, honestly,
I'm starting to lose track of time! You know, the reason why folks like me create games on here
is because we're chasing our dreams. And for me, that means turning my passion into a career.
But here's the thing: I'm not about to let money come before what I truly love doing. I know I've
got skills, and I'm not giving up until I make it big. So, whatever comes my way after I tweet this,
I'm ready to face it head-on. This is all me, doing what feels right.)
I’m releasing this because I believe what's right.

The intricacies of human behavior often reveal themselves in unexpected ways, particularly
within online communities like Roblox. It's disheartening to encounter individuals who wear a
facade of kindness in public while harboring darker intentions behind closed doors. This duality
of character is exemplified by certain figures within the Roblox platform, including those who
wield influence and resources to manipulate and coerce others for personal gain.

Our recent encounter with such behavior serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by
developers in navigating the complexities of online collaboration and ownership. Allow me to
elaborate on the events that transpired, shedding light on the broader implications for the
Roblox community and its members.

Just a few days ago, my partner, known as "WhereTheRoadMeets" or simply "Road,"

received a distressing message on Discord from none other than yourself, Jandel. The contents
of this message were not only unsettling but also revealed a disturbing pattern of behavior that
we felt compelled to address openly. Your demands, Jandel, were clear: surrender the majority
share of our upcoming game project, Anime Clash, or face legal consequences including
cease-and-desist orders and lawsuits for alleged intellectual property infringement.

This ultimatum struck us deeply, not only for its audacity but also for its implications on the
principles of fairness and collaboration within the Roblox community. It's disheartening to
witness a fellow developer resort to such coercive tactics, especially when the foundation of our
project, Anime Clash, was built upon creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for game
development.

To provide context to this situation, it's essential to backtrack several months to the inception of
Anime Clash and its roots in Road's previous involvement with your project, Anime Wave
Defense. At the time, Road's contributions to Anime Wave Defense were made under the
assumption of a binding non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which later proved to be void. This
realization, coupled with Road's desire to explore his creative potential further, led to the
development of Anime Clash—a project fueled by ambition and a commitment to delivering a
unique gaming experience to the Roblox community.

As Road's partner in this endeavor, I witnessed firsthand the dedication and hard work that
went into shaping Anime Clash into what it is today. Our vision for the game was not merely to
replicate existing concepts but to push the boundaries of innovation and creativity, drawing
inspiration from a diverse range of sources while infusing it with our unique flair.
Your assertion of intellectual property infringement, Jandel, came as a shock to us, as we had
meticulously crafted every aspect of Anime Clash from scratch, ensuring that it bore no
resemblance to your own project beyond the broad genre of anime-inspired gameplay. Despite
our willingness to provide evidence to refute these claims, your insistence on legal action and
intimidation tactics left us feeling marginalized and vulnerable.

In our pursuit of justice and transparency, we sought counsel from trusted associates within the
industry, including individuals with expertise in intellectual property law. Their assessment of the
situation confirmed our initial suspicions: there was no legal basis for the claims made against
us. Armed with this knowledge, we stood firm in our resolve to defend our rights and integrity
against unwarranted threats and coercion.

While the outcome of our confrontation with you, Jandel, may have left us feeling disillusioned
and disheartened, it's essential to recognize the broader implications of such behavior within the
Roblox community. Developers, particularly those who are young and inexperienced, should not
be subjected to undue pressure and intimidation tactics by individuals with greater resources
and influence.

In sharing our story, we hope to spark a dialogue within the Roblox community about the
importance of integrity, transparency, and fair play. We refuse to be silenced or bullied into
submission, for our commitment to creativity and innovation remains unwavering despite the
obstacles we face.

As we embark on the journey that lies ahead in 2024, let us remain vigilant in upholding the
values that define us as developers and as members of the Roblox community. Together, we
can foster an environment of collaboration, mutual respect, and shared success for all who call
this platform home.
