7:15-7:25 10 Arrival Time Period of Individual, peer, or group exploration of the different play areas
or activity centers in the classroom while waiting for the other children to
arrive.
7:25-7:35 10 Meeting Time 1 Introductory or preparatory activities for the day which include class circle
for teacher-guided recitation (prayer, songs, etc).
7:35-8:20 45 Work Period 1 Children Work in small groups, in pairs, or individually on either teacher-
assigned or child-initiated activities.
8:20-8:30 10 Meeting Time 2 The children are once again gathered by the teacher as a whole group. Also,
a time to prepare for washing hands before eating snacks.
8:30-8:45 15 RECESS Nourishing Break for the Learners
8:45-8:55 10 Quiet Time During this time, children can rest or arrange in relaxing activity
8:55-9:10 15 Rest/Story Time/ This is a teacher guided interactive read aloud activity for stories, rhymes
Rhymes/ Songs poems and songs.
9:10-9:50 40 Work Period 2 Children Work in small groups, in pairs, or individually on either teacher-
assigned or child-initiated activities.
9:50-10:10 20 Indoor /Outdoor Games Activities include sports, simple athletics, movement activities and outdoor
games
10:10-10:15 5 Meeting 3/ Dismissal Children are given time to pack up

10:15-10:45 30 Homeroom Guidance or

Religious Instruction
10:45-11:00 15 Flag Retreat
Note:
 Religious Instruction must be in accordance with DepEd Order No. 49 s. 2009
 Homeroom Guidance must be in accordance with DM OUCI 2021-346
 Flag Raising Ceremony will be held every Monday and Flag Retreat every Friday as per DepEd Order No. 50 s. 2015
