The Check Procedure for insulation resistance of windings

Please check Insulation resistance by megger Tester / 500V DC. HHI-EES

1) Measure the Main Power Lines at Bus Bar of Generator

-Before insulation resistance check, the ACB and Fuse should be opened and removed.

2) If insulation resistance is not in normal, firstly the power cables should be checked.
Please check insulation resistance value of power cables whether grounded.
Some times, cables rubbed by a hull vibration and grounded,

3) If you can't found grounded with cables, dis-connect power cables from the Generator.
Then, check the insulation resistance on the Bus-Bar for Generator windings,
