Club of Verve and we conducted a webinar on career construction under project Hope
4.0. Under this session we invited CA Deepika Chopra who have 10 + years
experience. She took a session, she gives guidance & directions for career. She also
helps for career opportunities We have collaborated with Session was informative and
effective for students.

Project Description - Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus organised, a Webinar
Under The focus area Maternal and Child Health, Project Maatritva on 2nd July,
2023. Dr. Kusum Sabharwal (gynecologist and an obstetrician) was the guest speaker
for this event. It was a question and answer session in which questions related to
maternity and child health were put us by the attendees and Dr. Kusum answered all
of them. Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside collaborated in the webinar and 4 of our
members took part of the session and interacted with Dr. Kusum.

Project Description - The Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside worked with the
Rotaract Club of G. L. Bajaj on Project WashWell on July 3, 2023, Day 3 of Project
Hope 4.0. Around 200 hand soaps and about 180 hand sanitizers were distributed as
part of the Project. With the help of the participating clubs, we interacted with more
than 120 people and held 15 sessions on hand hygiene and preventative measures
against various diseases at five different locations. Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside
organised the interactive session with kids and distribution drive in the Slum Area of
Greater Noida.

Project Description – "On July 4, 2023, Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside
collaborated with Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus for the webinar Project MISE
EN SCENE, for which Dr. Smriti Sethi (a counselling and environment physiologist
at Amity University, Noida) was the speaker of the session. The objectives of this
session were:
1. Explore how young people can design and implement the environmental issues
and solutions the world needs now by harnessing their creativity, knowledge,
and energy.
2. Advancing our collective understanding of young people's environmental and
sustainability needs, aspirations and concerns.

Project Description - On July 5, 2023, a collaborative effort between the
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside and the Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus resulted
in an enlightening webinar on Thalassemia. The session featured an inspiring speaker,
Ms. Vaishnevi, who was born with the genetic disorder beta-thalassemia major. Ms.
Vaishnevi shared her life experiences, shedding light on various aspects of
thalassemia, such as its types, symptoms, treatment, and prevention. Her informative
talk provided valuable insights and enhanced awareness among the participants,
fostering a deeper understanding of this condition. Overall, the webinar proved to be
an invaluable platform for knowledge dissemination and community engagement.

Project Description – The Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside joined forces with
the Rotaract Club of G L Bajaj to organise a webinar as part of Project Vikas. The
session featured esteemed guest speakers, Ms. Swati Sharma from Avantus Insurance
Brokers and Mr. Shaktiraj Bhalla from HDFC Life. This interactive session aimed to
enlighten participants about the significance of life insurance and its numerous
benefits. The speakers shared valuable insights, covering topics such as the
importance of life insurance and its various aspects. During the Q&A session,
participants had the opportunity to pose questions related to the insurance sector,
which were expertly answered by the speakers.

Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution
Topic – PROJECT PACIFIQUE

Project Description – The Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside collaborated with
the Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus on Project Pacifique. This project took place
on July 7, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We conducted and distributed peace
letters under the Letters of Hope initiative, where the participants had to fill out a
form containing several questions. The questions were based on what peace means to
them and what their go-to strategies are to handle conflicts. The different responses
and strategies given by the participants helped us understand what peace means to
different people. And what are the different kinds of strategies people use to handle
conflicts?
Day 8 8th of July, 2023
District Project HOPE 4.0
Location: Arts Faculty, DU
Project Description
On 8th of July, 2023, Zone - 1 along with district project The Pride Place organised
the Pride Parade at Arts Faculty, DU. Rotaract club of Delhi Riverside collaborated
for the event 3 of our members took part in the parade. Parade was attended by 11
different club members and LGBT community members.
Participants & Conclusion
Total 3 Rotaractors joined the event from the club and we all had an amazing day.The
event went really well and we had an overwhelming experience with the presence of
more then 50+ Rotaractors & LGBT community.
Project Sahas
Location – Slum Area, Noida Sector – 62
Project Description
On Day 8 of Project HOPE 4.0, Zone - 1, organised a seasonal distribution drive
under Project Sahas in which Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside also participated and
distributed 10 sets of stationary kits to the kids of Noida Sector - 62 Slum. We
distributed diary and pen to the kids and had a small conversation with them.

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside attended the Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club of Delhi
Riverside on third of July, 2023. Rtr. Rajat Agarwal along with it's two board members attended
the event. Rtr. Rajat Agarwal was also installed as the President of Rotaract Club of Delhi
Riverside in the presence of Rotary Club President and board members.
Project Happy Tails (Reflective Dog Collars)

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside along with ConnectFor and Bhumi Delhi organised Project
Happy Tails (a reflective dog collar making project for street dogs to prevent accidents) on 16th of
July, 2023 at Talkatora Garden, Delhi. More than 10 clubs collaborated for the event. 50+
reflective dog collars were made for the street dogs to prevent road accidents and improving their
visibility at night.

Kalpana: District Installation Ceremony

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside attanded Kalpana - The district installation ceremony of DRR
PHF. Rtr. Arushi Bhadoria and her team for the ROTA Year 2023-24 at Immantec Institute,
Ghaziabad on 23rd of July, 2023. During the event, PHF. Rtr. Arushi Bhadoria was officially
installed as District DRR and her team of executive council were officially appointed.
Project NIROG

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside organised it's first Medical Camp under the flagship, Project
Nirog at Sector - Beta-1, Greater Noida. 82 patients took the consultation during the camp. They
were provided with free doctor consultation, free medicines, sugar and blood pressure test. Dr. O.
P. Dubey was present as a doctor to provide consultation to the patients and Rtn. Dr. G. S. Bansal,
provided the medicines for the camp.

Project Arjunrog

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus organised an online awareness session from 3rd of August to
6th of August on Conjunctivitis (Eye Flue). The motive of the project was to create awareness via
social media by creating and sharing informative posters or videos on Conjunctivitis. Rotaract
club of Delhi riverside collaborated in the event and shared posters on social media having
informative content related to eye flue. 15 clubs collaborated for the event with 500+ people
impacted.
Community Art 4 Heart Health

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside organised an online hands on session on Community Art 4 Heart
Health on August 6, 2023. This was part of an international collaborative project between two
USA based professionals - Dr. Sylvia Cerel - Suhl, physician, community artist and researcher,
founder director of KidsArts4Heart and Ar. Santrupthy Das, architect, artist, educator and
researcher. Starting with discussing why heart health is important and what is the value of people
coming together to create art, they both took the audience through a fold-along session to make
origami hearts. Dr. Sylvia narrated the story of how to take care of the heart making it easier to
remember with the folding steps. Santrupthy explained the larger art project in the pipeline and
encouraged participants to contribute to it. The session concluded with a question answer round
and thank you note by the Immediate Past President Rtr. Dr. Megha Singhal.

Project Rang De

Description
District Rang De was hosted by Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside from 10th of August, 2023 to
12th of August, 2023. 70+ volunteers took part in the event to paint 20+ walls in 3 days of the
event. During and after the walls were painted, children had a new hope and joy was shown on
their face.

Independence Day Celebration x Rang De Inauguration

Description
The "Independence Day Celebration x Rang De Inauguration" event was hosted by the Rotaract
Club of Delhi Riverside at the Rotary Institute of Special Children, Noida on the occasion of 15th
of August. The event was a great success. Flag hosting by the dignitaries was done followed by
singing, poetry and dance by the special children of the institute.
Project Aaina (Umeed)

Description
On 15th of July, 2023, District Project Aaina came up with Project Umeed. Umeed took place
when Delhi was submerged in water due to rain and Yamuna flood. Under Project Umeed, aaina
extended their hands in rebuilding the hopes of city, donating essentials to flood camps refugees.
3500+ pads, 150+ biscuits and water bottles, the immense support from clubs, showed power of
service and fraternity. The volunteers gathered in huge numbers against the overflowing bank to
bring necessities to victims, lending a kind hand in fighting back for normalcy. Rotaract club of
Delhi Riverside also collaborated for the event and made the contribution of 100 sanitary pads.
Installation Ceremony of Rotaract Club of United Birgunj

Description
On 22nd of August, Rotaract Club of United Birgunj had it's 5th Installation Ceremony at Hotel
Pujan, Birgunj, Nepal. Our Club President, Rtr. Rajat Agarwal attended the installation ceremony
of Rtr. Piyush Agrawal, President, RaC United Birgunj. During the event, we also had 5 letterhead
exchanges with clubs based in Nepal (Rotaract Club of United Birgunj, Rotaract Club of Simara,
Rotaract club of Birgunj, Rotaract Club of Birgunj Metropolis & Rotaract Club of Makwanpur)
and later we had the discussion on each other initiatives, projects, future collaborations and joint
initiatives along with fellowship.

Rotaract Club of Delhi City Nexus organised a webinar session on Forensic psychology and Law.
Speaker for the session was Dr. Rajat Kanti Mitra, a clinical and forensic psychologist and a
professor at Amity University who is having more than 20 years working experience with the
Delhi Police. Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside collaborated for the event and it was a very
informative session for all of us. 4 of our members attended the event.

Rotaract Club of G. L. Bajaj organised a webinar session on career counseling & stress
management during the period. Speaker for the session was Ms. Apoorva Srivastava, an alumna of
GL Bajaj and a former member of the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj. Session was attended by 3 of
our club members. It was highly informative session related to Career counseling, stress
handeling, resume building, etc.
Project NIROG

Mata ka Bhandara

Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside along with Vasudev Caterers & Vasudev Residency organized
Mata Ka Bhandara on the occasion of Navratri. We distributed Puri, Sabji & Suji Halua as a
Prasad during the bhandara. More than 1000+ people had the Prasad during the bhandara and it
was a great success.
Jingle Bellers

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside along with Rotary Club of Delhi Riverside organized Jingle
Bellers, an event for the special kids of the school. During the event, we had cake cutting
ceremony followed by food distribution. After that we organised a painting competition for the
students and best 3 paintings were awarded. We distributed stationary kits to the kids and with the
help of school staff & management, we also organised kho-kho & musical chair for special
children. The event was a huge success. The event was graced by Rtn. Dr. G. S. Bansal & others.
Apni Rasoi (Bhandara)

Description
Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside along with Rotaract Club of Verve organized Bhandara on the
occasion of Christmas. We distributed Puri & Sabji as a Prasad during the bhandara. More than
300+ people had the Prasad during the bhandara and it was a great success.

Description
Under the Project Nari (Zonal Project of Zone – 1), Rotaract Club of Delhi Riverside organised
the pad distribution drive and educated women on the importance of menstrual hygiene and
promote practices. 1000 Sanitary Pads were distributed during the event.
