• In accordance with the Risk Assessment, Method Statement & Opportunities process a task specific
risk assessment will be completed. It should outline materials and equipment to used during the task

• If the task specific risk assessment outlines a Task Specific Manual Handling Assessment is required

• The Task Specific Manual Handling Assessment should be completed by a competent person who
has the training, knowledge and experience of the works and producing risk assessments.

control measures and also have a confidential discussion with the invididual who has raised they
have known or capability issues which could prevent them for undertaking the works and
