Advertisement for Field Investigator under ICSSR Project

Applications are invited for the post of Field Investigator in a Major Research Project titled “Study
of Supply Chain Linkages in the major potato-producing districts of Uttar Pradesh: Impact on
overall cost and Farmers’ income”, funded by ICSSR New Delhi.
 Post Name: Field Investigator
 No. of post: 02 (Full/Part-Time Basis)
 Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of
55% marks.
 Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in data collection through
questionnaires/interviews.
 Respondents for data collection: Potato Farmers, Potato Seeds Companies/ Dealer, Labour,
Plant Protection Unit, Representatives of Mandi Parishad, Potato Traders (Adhtiya), Owner of
Cold Storages, Potato Wholesalers, Potato Retailers, Potato Processing Units, Bank’s
Representatives, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Government officials at the district
level.
 Duration & Salary: The selected candidate will be appointed on a consolidated salary
@ Rs. 15000/ per month without HRA as per ICSSR, New Delhi norms for the period of Four
Months. Transport Allowance (TA) will be givin for field visits for data collection.
