The district takes the reporting of employee misconduct to FDOE seriously. Since the receipt of the report, the district has taken the following steps: School Board Policy 6.71 was revised and publicly noticed earlier this month. It will be presented to the School Board for approval on March 5, 2024. The proposed revision recommended by the OIG is attached. © The district created an online reporting system to allow schools to report employee conduct online, The online system improves tracking and reporting capabilities. On February 15, 2024, schools were provided posters and flyers for display and distribution at their schools announcing this system. The advertisements contain a QR code for convenient access.
