Hi. Welcome to my first epic adventure campaign.

15+ by its conclusion.

I noticed that a lot of material seemed to skip the

first few levels of play, which I feel are integral to
understanding your character and building a strong
team dynamic. So, with this campaign, I tried to
create early level content that was both educational
for new players while still maintaining a fun and
exciting story for seasoned veterans of the game.

I hope that you and your players enjoy exploring the

story that I’ve written and have hours of fun traveling
the lands of Faerûn, revisiting some locations that
haven’t been discussed for a while, uncovering
mysteries, and fighting evil.

This campaign uses material from the fifth edition

Player’s Handbook, the Dungeon Master’s Guide, the
Monster Manual, as well as Volo’s Guide to Monsters
and requires those books to run as written.

The civilized lands of Faerûn are in grave peril once

again and only you can save the realms from the
wraith of Yeenoghu’s children. Best of luck!

James MacMurray

Disclaimer: While the Lord of Savagery doesn’t make his appearance in this volume of
the story, I suspect that Yeenoghu is watching events unfold from the Abyssal plane.
He probably isn’t too happy about a band of plucky adventurers heading out to put a
stop to his machinations, and he may be plotting his revenge. Stay vigilant.
