We regret to inform you that, due to budget cuts, lack of customers and low sales we will be reducing
your working hours from 40 hours per week to 20 hours per week. This change will be effective
02/01/2024.
Your new schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 am to 12 pm. Your accrual of sick leave will be reduced
from 2 hours per month to 1 hour per month, and your accrual of annual leave will be reduced from 4
hours per month to 2 hours per month.
As a non-exempt employee, as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act, your hourly salary will
remain at $22.4 per hour. You will be paid accordingly for the hours worked.
The new schedule will be effective from 02/01/2024 and will operate until further notice. As soon as I
have any additional information about how long these arrangements will be in place, I will let you know.

All reduced hours employees shall be eligible for unemployment benefits from your local unemployment
office.
Contact your local unemployment office and present this letter as proof of your employment status and
for eligibility and applying for unemployment benefits. Please take note that this is temporary. we
undertake that all of your labor rights that you have gained depending on your working time will be
protected. As conditions return to normal, we will increase your work hour appropriately.
