OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT

Further to your application and successful interview with The Fastlane & CO, we hereby offer you an Industrial
Training contract employment starting 30/06/2 021. Your performance will appraise every three months and
further decisions will be taken based on your level of productivity. You will be in the ICT as the IT intern for the
duration of your employment.

JOB SPECIFICATION/DESCRIPTION

● Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems


● Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
● Organize and maintain IT resources
● Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday 8:30am-6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm every other Saturday. Due to the nature of our
operations you may be required to work extra hours and work shifts based on workload.

REMUNERATION

You will be on a monthly remuneration package of N30,000 subjected to PAYE Tax) payable in arrears on the last
day of each month. Please note that after three months your salary would be upwardly reviewed, this is dependent
on your performance.

PROBATION

You will be on probation for a maximum of three months during which this appointment can be terminated by
either party with (2) week’s written notice. However, management reserves the right at all times to dismiss for
gross misconduct, disobedience, perpetual lateness to work, disloyalty, inability to perform, unsoundness of mind,
dishonesty or conviction for any criminal offence.

TRAINING

The company believes in a continuous learning process; hence every employee is expected to undergo continuous
training organized formally and informally.
SEPARATION OF SERVICE

While the company looks forward to maintaining low staff turnover, the company shall not tolerate violation of the
company's code of ethics or unproductive employees: this may result in separation of service. The company has
zero tolerance for poor customer relations, poor commitment to excellence or negative work ethics, as we value
customer service, relationship, excellence, quality and teamwork.

You are required to give the company two weeks’ notice for disengagement of service or two weeks’ salary in lieu
of notice

RETURN OF PROPERTY

Upon termination of employment, the employee will return to the operations manager all the items, documents
and other tangible manifestations of confidential information (and all copies and reproduction thereof). In
addition, employees will return any other property belonging to Fastlane & Coand without limitation: Computers,
Office supplies, Money and Hardcopy/softcopy documents.

WAIVER OR MODIFICATION of the employment or any other related covenant or condition or limitation herein
contained shall be valid unless in writing and duly executed by management.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

All employees at the time of resumption will be required to provide the following information for staff file update;

− Educational/training certificates, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate (where necessary)

− Children’s birth certificate (where necessary), 2 recent passport photographs

− Completely filled induction manual, Completely filled employment application form

− Completely filled guarantors’ forms and guarantor’s letter

− Other vital information will be communicated by the HR/Admin unit.

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

1. The employee shall not at any time during the course of his employment (except as is necessary and
proper in the course of his employment) or afterwards disclose to any person any information as to the
practice business dealings or affairs of the company or any of its customers or clients or as to any other
matter which may come to his/her knowledge by reason of his/her employment.

2. For the period of 2 years after the termination of your employment, for any cause whatever, the employee
shall not canvass, solicit or endeavor to take away from the company, the business of any of the customers or
clients of the company who have been customers or clients of the company during the period of 1 year
immediately preceding the termination of the employment.

3. The confidential information and trade secrets shall include:

Financial information such as earnings, assets, debts. Prices, pricing structure purchase volume or sales figure and
all other financial data on products.

(i) Supply and service information such as goods and services, suppliers names or addresses, term of
supply or services, contract specific details pertaining to suppliers who though publicly known
such specific detail yields advantages to the company

(ii) Marketing information such as details about ongoing or proposed marketing programs or
agreements, sales forecast or results.

(iii) Designs and technical information.

(iv) Personnel information

(v) Customer information such as compilation of customer list, records of purchase and price
agreements and related information.

(vi) All other information that may conveniently fall within the legal definition of trade secrets.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• The MD,GM,HR and Operation manager must be informed before you leave the office
• Whenever the MD is around, do not leave the office without prior notice
• Break time is between 1-2pm and it lasts for 45minutes
• No eating or sleeping in the office
• FASTLANE white polo must be worn on Mondays, blue and white polo on Tuesdays, any other
polo on Wednesdays and Thursdays and casuals on Fridays and Saturdays
• No use of foul languages
• No fighting
• You must clock-in and clock-out every working days
• Resumption time is 8:30am for the Ibadan office and 9:00am for Lagos office. Closing hours is
6:00pm for both offices (you have a grace of 30minutes after resumption time)
• Sick leave is only allowed one week in a year(you have to be a staff for 3months before you get
entitled to this)

• You are entitled to borrow up to 40% of your salary as IOU within 2-3 months of working. You
also need to give 2 weeks notice
• 8% will be deducted from your salary as a security deposit. Hence, you have to give 2 weeks
notice for sales rep and 1month notice for senior staff
• No bags should be placed on the tables
• Slippers is not allowed in the office
• Attendance at all meetings is compulsory. Lateness is not tolerated
• All departments must complete and submit their monthly reports before payment of salary
• Store auditors must ensure to take stock of goods before payment of salary
• All offices must be kept neat and organized
• You won’t be paid without the submission of your guarantors forms
• If you haven’t spent up to 6 months with the company, any excuses including sickness will not
be permitted. Sick leave will also not be granted
