MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCATION Colegio Menor – Campus Quito

JOB PURPOSE You’ll help us fulfil the school’s purpose, direction, and values by
applying leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills.

You’ll explain the importance of working in an interdisciplinary manner


with multiple Colegio Menor community members.

As a genuine team-player, you’ll work across our central, regional, and


local teams to create a positive and professional culture and climate
within the school and Middle School. Everything we do is connected to
our vision to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens
who will change our world for the better.

Your role will impact the organisation by helping ensure the cognitive,
emotional, and physical development of every student, as well as the
professional development of all members of the Middle School faculty
and staff.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

▪ Master’s Degree and/or recognized Certification (ie: PTC) in Educational Administration and/or
Leadership (Essential).

▪ Fully Bilingual/Native in Spanish and English (Essential).

▪ Minimum 3 years of successful, full-time classroom teaching experience (Essential).

▪ Minimum 2 years of administrative, supervisory, or management experience (Desirable).

▪ Previous International school experience (Desirable).

▪ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.

▪ Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and
cultures.

▪ Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.

▪ Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.

▪ Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
