Bringing Anthropology to New Places

The complex world we live in demands new standards for addressing problems. The
solutions that have brought us here hardly make sense in a world characterized by complexity.
It is there, where the prism of systemic and multidiverse perspectives emerges as an
opportunity to explore a new ecosystem of solutions.

Skills4Future was born in 2020, pre-pandemic, in Hyderabad, a technological city


located in southern India. From there to date, we have grown, accompanied global
organizations in addressing their complex challenges, and built a dream team.

But this year brings new things, or rather, new people. With Juan Manuel Lopez Manfre,
we decided to partner up and scale Skills4Future’s services. I’ve always found it a blessing to
embark on ventures with friends, and this opportunity is too fabulous because I know we will
grow, but also because I won’t stop learning for a single day.

Anthropology can, among other things, assist organizations in gaining a profound


understanding of the behaviors of their users, which can be translated into value and
efficiencies for industries as the engine of the economy. By combining anthropological
research with other disciplines, it is possible to deepen the understanding of how people make
decisions in real contexts, considering the cultural, social, and emotional influences that shape
their actions.

At Skills4Future, we seek to drive significant changes. Our approach is different. We


love to discover the unknown. We leverage cutting-edge scientific research and human-
centered design to conduct behavioral diagnostics that get to the core of existing behavior
systems. We rely on validated frameworks of behavioral change to design powerful
interventions and use rigorous, low-cost testing to identify the best solutions to implement on
a large scale. We create products and services ten times better by truly understanding your
users.

Our ambition is to create lasting and equitable changes in areas where traditional
methods are not effective. By translating scientific research into practice, we position
ourselves at the heart of many success stories. Organizations aspiring to lead must go beyond
existing literature. And there we are to support companies that want to be part of great
transformations.

We have designed and conducted experiments with global companies, governments,


and non-profit organizations to generate transformational insights. We have collaborated with
some of the world’s largest organizations to change behaviors on a large scale, applying
cutting-edge research to identify barriers to desirable behaviors and creating interventions to
overcome them. We identify human findings that are not captured by statistics, representing a
critical advancement in our ability to understand and address the complexity of human
variables in the fabric of global society.

By applying ethnographic methodologies and anthropological theories to the study of
contemporary phenomena, we not only interpret the complexity of human behavior but also
anticipate the consequences of our interventions in the social network.

In this environment, our proposal provides a deep understanding of human and


cultural complexity, essential for navigating and shaping the future in a holistic and systemic
way.
