Installation sequence
Check whether all delivered components comply with the original order and the shipping
documents. Check if all packages are in good order and not damaged.
Check whether the on-site measurements correspond with the installation drawing.
Check whether all tools required for the installation are available. For reference see the
chapter ”tools”.

Step 4. Fixing the suspension points
There are two options for the fixing of the suspension points:
suspension height - 55mm
hole 60x6,5mm
rod hanger =
suspension height
Suspension rods plus adjustable springs Rigid suspension: Suspension element plus
threaded rods M5/M6
The suspensions have to be fixed to the structural ceiling with an appropriate fixing
method, using plugs and screws or bolts. The fixing method has to be approved by the
general contractor.

Step 5. Suspending the carriers

The last carrier (of the first line) is cut off in the same way as the first.
Consecutive lines of carriers are then suspended, in accordance with the installation
drawing (check for possible extra carriers in case of panel splicing).

the same for each line of carriers.

To take up the weight of the lamps, the carriers next to the lamps require additional
suspension points. See chapter “Lighting” for more info.
Panels are normally supplied made to length, but on site cutting of panels is required
in case of:
• tolerances in the construction
• columns or other building construction parts obstructing the run of the panels
• cutting around lightfixtures, airgrilles and other installations.
cut
Note:
• Each panel is printed on the inside with a branding (ca. 1,-m ¢ to ¢), consisting
of the following elements:
installation direction
colour number
batch number
The maximum standard panellength is 6000 mm. It is possible to produce longer panels but
for reasons of handling, this is not common practice. In case of lenghts > 6 m panels are
usually spliced. Splicing is done by inserting a connecting piece in panelends.
splice

Note:
The function of the panel splice is to bring the two panel ends in line with each other.
The panel splice is not a physical connection, so normal cantilever spans apply and carriers
have to be placed on max. 150 mm from both panelends joints.

Note:
In case of 75-150-225C Closed Ceiling the preferred splicing is with staggered joints.

Adaptor panels
hold-down clip
”Wall-to-wall” installation
The ”adaptor”- panels on both ends of the room go on the edge cover profile with the cut
end. Fixing clips are used to lock partial outer panels. To prevent an upward movement of
the panels, sufficient hold-down clips has to be inserted in the edge cover profiles.
