Aim The aim of e-Pathshala e-Learning reimbursement scheme is to facilitate professional development of employees through e-leaming courses that would promote a culture of learning in the Company, 2. Objectives ‘The objectives of the scheme are to: © Upgrade Domain Knowledge through access to world class resources + Enhance Managerial/Technival/Functional Competency of Executives + Facilitate and encourage self- development through self-leaming 3. Scope/Coverage 3.1 The scheme shall be applicable for all regular grade Executives from E0 (neluding JOs) up to E9 grade. 3.2. The scheme is applicable to e-lcarning courses which have a Certification process and issue of certificate on successful completion of the course. 3.3. The Scheme shall be operated as ‘Reimbursement Scheme’ limited upto a maximum reimbursement (per employee per financial year) as given below EO to E3; Rs. 10,000=00 (including JOs) E4 to E6: Rs. 20,000=00 ET to E9: Rs, 30,000-00 3.4 Learners can enroll in any number of e-learning course subject to the above limit per executive per Financial Year (FY). 3.5 Learner can cnroll in any duration course, however, the reimbursement shall be on submission of completion certificate at the end of the course duration for only that specific financial year in which the course gets completed. 3.6 Learner can enroll in e-Learning course of any value, however, the reimbursement shall be subject to the limit as given in point 3.3 above. — i ss rage tof We 3.7 Leatner shall be eligible to apply for more than one course at a time. 4. Administration of the scheme 4.1 The scheme shall be rolled out for SAIL centrally by MTI and operationalized by Plant/unit HRD. 4.2 The courses offered by any of the 24 Course providers identified by MTI in consultation with HoTs shall be covered under the scheme. Coursera, AICTE, IGNOU, NITTR, EdX, TATA Steel Digie-shala, NPTEL, Udemy, Steel University, IIMs, IITs, Lagunita Stanford, IITs, SHRM, SWAYAM, FutureSkills Prime platform of nasscom, EY Virtual Academy, NSE Academy Certification in Financial Markets(NCFM), National Institute of Securities Market(NISM), Indian Institute of Skill Development Training(IISDT), ICMAL- The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Indian Academy of Law and Management (ALM), Enhelion & Law Skills. The list of e-learning service providers shall be reviewed /updated from time to time, as per Organizational requirement after approval of ED (HRD). 4.3 The application duly forwarded by the Reporting Officer (RO) in the application form given at Annexure-I for course related to his! her domain/ technical/ functional’ managerial area, shall be submitted to the Head of Training (HoT) for approval and issue of order. 4.4. On successful completion of the Course, the applicant shall — © Submit the Course completion certificate and proof of payment of Certification fee to the Head of Training of the Plant/unit for reimbursement of the amount (subject to the limit given in 3.3) in format given at Annexure IL The executive shall also Upload the certificate in the online system. 4,5 The e-pathshala Calendar shall be financial year and shall close with uploading of certificate by individual in online system like EPMS by 31" March of each Financial Year. 4.6 Head of Training (HoT) shall be the process owner for smooth implementation of the scheme and maintaining the records thereof. HoT shall monitor and control budget and enrollment process. 5. General 5.1 The applicant is expected co compleie the course in his/her own time without affecting the performance at workplace, 5.2 There shall be no reimbursement of expenses other than course/certification fee, 5.3 The Scheme shall be availed on first-cum-first basis irrespective of grade in a particular grade category (E0 to £3, E4 to E6 and E7 to E9) ey eneat é Page2of5 e 54 Plant/ Unit Scheme Coverage Limit: The maximum coverage of executives shall be of 20% of population or 10 numbers, whichever is higher, in that grade category ie. EO to E3, E4 to E6 and E7 to E9 of a plant/ unit. 5.5 Relaxation in Mandatory Online test qualifying marks on completing e-pathshala course(s) for B2, E4 and E6 grade: 5.5.1 Executives in E2, B4, and E6 grades who are eligible for promotion to next higher grade and who undertake e-leaming courses under e-Pathshale scheme shall be given relaxation of 10% or 20% qualifying marks in Mandatory online test qualifying mares on completion of one or two (or more) e-learning courses under the e-patlishala scheme respectively, 5.5.2 Only those course completion(s) shall be considered for the purpose that have been completed during the last / final year of eligibility for promotion to next higher grade. eg. If promotion is due in June 2024, the e-pathshala course(s) should be completed during 2023-24 FY and certificate must be uploaded in the online system like EPMS by March 31, 2024. 5.6 The amendment/modifications in the scheme (except time-to-time updation of course provider lis!) shall be carried out with the approval of Director (Personnel).
