Colour wheel

Tertiary colours are those made through combining a primary with a secondary colour

Complementary colours are those on the opposite spectrum which counterbalance each other well

Split complementary colours-when two opposite colours are chosen, and then the two neighbouring
colours of one of these is chosen. Example- yellow and blue-violet and red violet

Colour harmony is when the chosen colours work well together to be visually appealing.
