Subject: Letter of Intent for Grade 11 Recognition Day
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the Grade 11 faculty and administration to
formally express our intent to organize and conduct a Recognition Day for our esteemed Grade 11 students
at Subsidized Technical Education Program (STEP) Inc.
The purpose of Grade 11 Recognition Day is to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements,
growth, and contributions of our students throughout the academic year. This event will provide a platform
to honor academic excellence, leadership, community service, and positive behavior among our Grade 11
cohort.
Here is an outline of our proposed plan for the Grade 11 Recognition Day:
We propose to hold the Grade 11 Recognition Day on May 22, 2024 at 9:00 am to 11:00 am in
BJMP Calamba City Jail – Male Dorm activity area. The date has been chosen to ensure
maximum participation and coincide with the academic year's end.
Program Highlights:
The event will include:
Recognition of Academic Excellence: Awards for the highest GWA, and subject-specific
achievements.
Appreciation of Leadership and Involvement: Awards for exemplary classroom leadership
Selection Process:
We will establish a Selection Committee comprising faculty members and staff who will carefully
review nominations and select deserving candidates based on predetermined criteria. Students,
teachers, and staff members will have the opportunity to submit nominations for consideration.

Recognition Ceremony:
Achievers will be announced and presented with certificates of achievement during the Recognition
Day ceremony. We envision this as a formal event, which will include speeches, performances, and
acknowledgments to celebrate the accomplishments of our Grade 11 students.
Budget:
We have drafted a preliminary budget to cover the expenses for certificates and awards.
Collaboration and Support:
We are seeking the support and collaboration of the school administration and the BJMP Calamba
City Jail to ensure the success of the Grade 11 Recognition Day. Your guidance and endorsement are
invaluable as we move forward with the planning and execution of this event.
We believe that recognizing the achievements and positive contributions of our Grade 11 students is
crucial for fostering a culture of excellence and motivation within our school community. We are
confident that this event will honor our students and inspire others to strive for success.
