Hockey Game: Thursday, November 13th – Ottawa Senators vs New York Islanders. Only half the
tickets have been sold. Any remaining tickets are now available to non-parishioners.
Cost : $45.00 & food donations for New Connections Ministries. Cash or cheque made payable to
St. Francis Xavier at the parish office.
Christmas Boxes: Once again this year we will be supplying Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas
Child. They will be available for pick up after masses this weekend and up until November 23rd, you
may also use back packs or toolboxes. Please make sure to follow the instructions in the brochure
carefully. Boxes must be returned to the Parish Office by November 25th. Some of the countries
we will be helping this year include; Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, and Sierra Leone. Thank you for your
ongoing support in this very worthwhile endeavor.

DIOCESAN PARTNERSHIP WITH LIMA, PERU: Anyone interested in helping families


through a monetary donation may do so by sending it to the Sisters of Saint Joseph, 1127
Pembroke St. W., Pembroke, ON K8A 5R3 c/o Sr. Pauline Colterman, or call her at 613-
732-1203. These donations will provide a Christmas basket and help families who are still
struggling after the 2007 earthquake.
