Test: HUMCF Chairman Joe Simunovich finances water probe soil ethics projects by Gambassa.com students.

Hackensack, NJ January 1, 2012. United Waters support consists of sponsoring wa ter property sampling probes designed to determine water uniqueness such as pH, Turbidity, Nitrates, Calcium, Chloride, Ammonium, and Flow Rate. The environment al knowledge probes will measure characteristics as moisture, pH, GPS location, conductivity, CO2, voltage, current, light, relative humidity and more. The equi pment is coupled with books, and software to analyze the data. The impact is exceptional. Mr. Pitts created a local environmental tracking team. Said Luis Moro, Green City Standards. Moro noted United Water Companys agreement with Gambassa is consistent with President Obamas Well-Rounded Education initiati ve that included environmental literacy for the first time in history. United Wa ters contribution also gains valuable Triple Bottom Line results in harmony with their management in Corporate Social Responsibility. This is the future of busin ess working with communities, Said Mr. Moro United Water, and Green City Standards have united up with Gambassa.com, a proje ct-based learning Internet site, to support student projects designed at promoti ng environmental literacy and management. Louie Moro, Principle of Green City Standard and Joe Simunovich, United Water Me mber of the Board spearheaded the arrangement giving for high-rate water monitor ing and soil-tracking equipment to Biology High School students and Environment al Studies students that work with Gambassa.com. This new project will showcase Gambassas ability to collect the field research dat a and organize it so that students can see how their results trend with other st udents from other years, diverse schools, or different district areas says Glass. Our objective is to push the boundaries of education beyond the classroom walls and to build an ongoing repository of inspiring student works that demonstrate e xcellence. Students invest a great deal of time writing research papers, and per forming science projects, many of which at the end of the year are discarded, or taken home never to be read again. Gambassa gives life to these projects like n ever before. Gary Glass, creator of Gambassa, says Gambassa is intended to give power to teach ers and students by reorganization the processes of conveying, running, submitti ng, and collecting shared projects, as well as calculating measureable results. Students are conducting field research in different places, at different times, submitting them independently, activities beyond the classroom, which can easily overwhelm a teacher, and consume precious classroom time if not for Gambassa. Ken Pitts, AP Environmental Studies and Biology educator at Santiago High School in Corona, California said the equipment is an astonishing boost forward for hi m and his students. Pitts, who has been using Gambassa for over 2 years, says Ga mbassa improves the quality of his students work and the assignment compliance ra te, citing as evidence, 100% finishing point, on-time, of student research proje cts both years, the only two times this has occurred in his 31 years of teaching . Thanks to the United Water Company agreement, 500 unique educational projects ar e sponsored. Gambassa proves to be the most advanced next generation curriculum management system for educators and students, simultaneously benefiting communit ies and businesses, said Moro. Joe Simunovich said, Were helping the students becom e stewards and caretakers of their communitys environment. These are our future w ater quality leaders. Student and teachers using Gambassa continue to produce exceptional environmenta l results, says Glass. We want to give power to pioneering teachers like Ken Pitts and his students who are local heroes to be guardians of their communitys enviro nment. Don Baugh, Director of the No Child Left Inside Coalition said, "Advancing the e nvironmental literacy of our students is key to addressing today s increasingly complex environmental and related economic, social, natural resource, and energy issues."
