V. V. PROJECT/ TRAINING DESCRIPTION
. RATIONALE: The MATATAG Curriculum focuses on
individual learners, strives to build globally literate
and future-ready citizens, and seeks to address
current and future educational concerns. The learners
are expected to develop the core values of Maka-
Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan at Maka Bansa. The
MATATAG Curriculum emphasize the nation’s cultural
diversity and use it to promote effective teaching and
learning among different learning areas.
Furthermore the department issued DepEd
Order No. 010, s. 2024 stating that, MATATAG
Curriculum ensure every learner is equipped with life
skills, instill the value of citizenship and unity in
diversity and work effectively with others, educate all
Filipino Learners.
Moreover, the school abide the DepEd
issuances on the implementation of MATATAG
Curriculum, learning coordinators are desginated to
co-lead the progress of all the academic ’s activities.
However, that school is facing various
challenges, is the results of diagnostic test 2024-
2025, its shows that, major subject like Mathematics,
English and Science, AP, Filipino, MAPEH and EsP
must be given emphasis and apply effective
strategies on how the school may help all learners
improve their academic performance as well as the
