Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the consignment of books that I received
from Universal Book State Kolkata. The condition of the books that were delivered to me was extremely
poor, and they were in a severely damaged state. I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the
faulty packaging that led to this situation, and to demand an immediate replacement of the books.
I had placed an order for ten books from your store on 10th April 2023, and the delivery was made on
20th April 2023. When I received the package, I was shocked to see that the books were in an extremely
bad condition. The packaging was also very poor and had not been done properly. There were several
tears and rips in the packaging, and it was clear that the books had been mishandled during transit.
Upon opening the package, I found that several of the books had damaged covers and pages, and some
of them were even torn. This is an unacceptable state for books that are meant to be brand new, and it
has caused me a lot of inconvenience and frustration. I have attached some pictures of the damaged
books for your reference.
I would like to request an immediate replacement of the damaged books, as I need them for my studies
and cannot afford to wait for a long time. I also urge you to take strict action to ensure that such incidents
do not occur in the future, and that the packaging of the books is done in a more careful and efficient
manner.
I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take appropriate action to address the issue at the
earliest. Thank you for your time and attention.
